Hey guys,

It'd be much appreciated if you use the links below each of our stories (where it says "submit news") to make us aware of any announcements you may have seen and that we have missed. You know, rather than put it on our message boards?

That way we can give it the proper Corner treatment and what not.

Thanks!

News looms large in his legend...

Heh, but is this only about THE MACHINIST trailer or any of the other stuff as well? The only reason I didn't mail you about that one is because when I submitted the trailers for other horror films like THE LOCALS, Miike's CHAKUSHIN ARI or TALE OF TWO SISTERS they didn't go up on the main page ...

I usually try to submit whatever I find but I also try to evaluate what's going to get a story on the main page and what wont.

Take your shot at anything, we'll decide what we can turn into a story. The Machinist is a legit story while the Event Horizon: SE is a good scoop, there's not enough details to back it up, but we're looking into it.

I just bring this up because Nick used to have something up at the top of the boards about submitting news first then posting it later kinda thing.

Yeah, send all your news scoops to guys in charge to be turned into a story. How else will the world learn of things like Ultimate Fighter Ken Shamrock battling a homicidal scarecrow to save a bunch of drunken Spring Breakers? Now that's newsworthy!

Damn skippy its NEWS.

Thing with something like that, as Foy did, it's better if you were to write the story yourself and submit to us for posting. If Scott had just sent me a link to something about Shamrock and the 'Scarecrow' movies, I would've giggled but not really felt it needed a story. Scott, however, saw it as important to warrant many paragraphs and wrote it himself, and did a much better job than I would've, considering he's the one that's seen most of this stuff.. and knows who this Shamrock guy is.

get with it, he's "the most dangerous man in homicidal scarecrow movies"

"The Lethal Weapon" Steve Blackman, self styled kenpo ultra master, is to play a cenobite in the next DTV Hellraiser adventure.

Well, that's the first I've heard of this. Not nearly as ludicrous as the idiotic rumor someone came up with that WWE wrestler Edge would be playing Egghead in the next Batman movie.

Actually, I could have summed up the whole story in three sentences but figured it best to stretch it out a bit more. I'm amazed I stretched that blurb out as much as I did. I don't think Joan Rivers face is as stretched as that story was.
