I'm up for some Crimson Skies this evening if anyone wants to. I just have the demo disk for Rainbow Six, which I assume isn't compatible with the full version, not to mention I haven't even checked it out yet.

So Midway Arcade is Live enabled? Gonna have to look into it.

Quick question (I may have asked this before): If I accept someone's friend invitation, then I don't have to send THEM one in return, do I? I've accepted all the CHUD friend invites but haven't sent any out myself.

If I can make time later tonight, I'll gladly jump on for some Crimson Skies action. Starting the process of moving stuff out of the house for the sale, so we'll see. I'll be sure to jump on the boards first and let everyone know if/when I'm on.

Just checked, and as far as I can tell the Live portion of Midway Arcade is just the ability to post scores online. Just fyi.

Dude... I played Counterstrike last night, and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Have you played with people you know?

No. I just think it's an unbalanced game. If you're on a good team, you get all the money and start buying better weapons, which makes you damn near invincible. If you're on a shitty team, and I always am, you wind up stuck with a pistol, and hence you're dead fucking meat every round.

I dunno...the entire thing just feels choppy, unpolished and unfun to me. And I'm a sore loser. I'm sticking with Wolfenstein, which is a lot closer to Halo multiplayer in terms of teamwork and shootouts.

I've been hesitant to buy Wolfenstein for Xbox, because I played it furiously on PC for over a year and, while good fun, it just doesn't stack up to Call of Duty, BF192, etc. However, the price has just dropped. I believe I saw it for 29 bucks the other day. If so, I'll pick up a copy and we can start destroying each other WWII-style.

It'll be a nice warm-up for the Xbox version of COD (as well as BF1942, which is rumored to be coming to Xbox as EA's first Live title).

Okay, so I picked up Wolfenstein for Xbox tonight at Wal-Mart. $24.88

The time works for me. See whether or not the settings in USER CP can fix it. The times is set by that I think. Different than the last boards.

'Nother quick question: I started my Live subscription with one of those 'two months free' cards that I got in a game box, so I don't have the headset. Is the headset sold seperately, without the Live kit?

Oh and CT, I still have one or two unused 'two months free' cards laying around here somewhere, if you want one just PM me. You need a credit card number to sign up, but you can cancel if you want after the two months and never be charged.

Yes, you can buy them separately. But the Starter Kit also comes with a 12 Month subscription card and a game (Mech Assault), so you'd get your money's worth either way.

BTW, I recommend buying the 12 Month cards (currently $49.95Z) whenever you need to renew your subscription. It's cheaper than a monthly fee and would also prevent you from having to have a credit card on file.

Great. Rainbow Six is all the rage, but I prefer Ghost Recon - it's special ops war scenarios over anti-terrorist. You control two teams of three instead of one.

For me, the combat just works better - open terrain instead of close quarters.

Sorry, Boomstick...I traded in Counter-Strike. Just couldn't get into it.

I've been trying to find a good game of "Chicken" on CSkies. I always get partnered up with a bunch of peeps (see the pun?) who don't know what they're doing, while playing against some pros who know the meaning of teamwork (as well as all the maps like the back of their hands...). I'm always game for a bout of dogfighting as well - provided I can find the time to put down NG (to paraphrase Rapheal, "I LOVE being a ninja!")...
