Leprechaun: Back 2 Tha Hood

He's back, he's mean -- he's high? Again? The Leprechaun is back in the hood, all blazed up and seeking revenge.

When a group of friends discover his treasure, they soon find out they've unleashed a can of whoop ass. With their stack of riches, the group of hoodlums goes from poor to ghetto-fabulous overnight, spending their newfound loot on pimped-out cars and hair extentions. One by one, the friends stand up to the weed-smoking, knife-weilding, car-stealing Leprechaun who will stop at nothing to get his treasure back. Evil has a whole new rap and the kids from the hood had better watch their backs.

Hehe. Looks good. Out December 30.

I really liked Leprachaun In Tha Hood. I felt it was the only time the series actually realized what it was and made fun of itself. I had a good time watching it.....on cable.

Uh-oh Foy don't like it. but we have to remember, Foy has dissed some ignored classics such as Ice Crawlers, Ghost Rig and Silent Warnings!

Allow me to quote the 25th letter of the alphabet...

WHY?!

Yeah, I would've preferred CHILDREN OF THE CORN IN DA HOOD: DA GANGSTA WALKS BEHIND DA ROWS.

I'm sure Dimension is already shooting that one in Romania ...

I'm fascinated by this series. I hope this keeps getting weirder and weirder. Has Leprechaun been in space yet? When will he have access to a time machine?

Other possibilities:

Leprechaun In The Old West

Mideval Leprechaun

Two Guys, A Girl, and a Leprechaun

Something I just noticed:

Placing the 2 prominently on the cover implies that this is the "sequel" to the previous film. But aren't they all sequels? Isn't this as moronic as continuing the space adventures of Jason Vorhees and calling it Jason X Part 2?

I think the "Hood" sequel was the most successful. Kind of like when they released "Rambo 3", which was actually "Rambo 2" since the first movie was "First Blood", not "Rambo" whose name didn't appear in the series until "Rambo:First Blood Pt. 2", so actually the third movie should have been "Rambo 2: First Blood Part 3".
Get it?

I guess the only thing left for the little monster is a Vs. flick.
"Leprechaun Vs. Chucky" anyone?

It could never live up to the Full Moon classic, Dollman vs. Demonic Toys . Starring Tim "Jack Deth" Thomerson as Brick Bardo, aka Dollman.

Actually, it IS a seqeul. There was a Leprechaun In The Hood back in 1999. This is a seqeul to this movie I believe.

After a long and golden dormancy, the Leprechaun is brought back to life by three bungling rap artists looking to launch their music career. When Butch, Postmaster P, and Stray Bullet loot he local hip-hop mogul's studio to fund their album, the threesome unwittingly ends up with the secret of Mack Daddy's success: a magical flute. Their gigs instantly turn golden but a blood-thirsty Leprechaun and an angry Mack Daddy are hot on their trail, leaving a wake of destruction tainted by politically incorrect limericks.
