Lift it. Lick it. Know it.

I could live without The Rock.

The Rock is an awful pick. There's some crap Michael Bay out there but that isn't one of them.

Oh, I'm shameless enough to vote for myself.

SCENT OF A WOMAN needs to be eradicated from the Earth forever.

FUCK that film. And fuck Pacino getting the Oscar for it.
The other one's from me, GFC. I can live without that smarmy fucker from Mobsters.
I've never seen Mobsters, but a quick IMDB check informs me that it contains some of the greatest casting ever. Richard Greico as Bugsy Seigal? That is inspired.

I love The Rock with all my fanboy worshipping Cinema Studies petitoning to get Bruck the credit he rightfully deserves as the last producer-auteur working today, but the simple fact remains that Don died while making this film. So that's why I'd kill it.

And you're absolutely positive it wasn't the mountains of cocaine in his diet?

King of the Idiots

I just voted for The Rock forgetting all of my unheard rhetoric. No Scent of A Woman, Denzel gets the oscar for Malcolm X, and thus eradicating Training Day from recent memory for Denzel would have already turned to romantic and screwball comedies a la Cuba Gooding Jr. and Jack Nicholson. Damn me!! but great pick anywho, even though I enjoyed Scent of A Woman.

I vote for ME.

Removing the Rocky Horror Picture Show, and the desperate shrieking subculture it inspired, from the face of existence is a thing of beauty.

No. I blame Biehn. He took out all his agression towards Cameron on Don, and it killed him.

Man, that's just crazy-talk.

Now, now...
Their desperate shrieking subculture is just as harmless as our desperate shrieking subculture.
Now if only there were some movie we could kill to eradicate that whole "furry" subculture...

Khitch, think about who is making that statement.

Then I would have to kill "Malcolm X" (even though I love the film) so that the Oscar would go to the one who really deserved it: Robert Downey, Jr. for "Chaplin".
I kill Jack Palance, then, ensuring that Marissa Tomei's Oscar goes to the right damn person.

The Rock sucks. Well, I only watched a random half-hour of it, but that sucked as bad as most whole sucky films suck. I wish I'd killed Bad Boys my second round so all Michael Bay films could be dead (although, I'll admit that BB isn't that bad). But if it killed Don Simpson, there's at least something good about it.

aah, perhaps. but did Downey not winning result in a "we're sorry about last time", here's an oscar for U.S. Marshals?

Scent of a Woman.

Horrible, pointless, silly movie. A perfect kill. A kill I wish I'd made.

I only saw it for the first time earlier this year on Encore and trust me, casting the Maniac Cop was one of those inspired choices:

He even got a little CHUD love:

I have no problem with the Rocky Horror Picture Show kill. I'm sure Tim Curry would have had a movie career without it, and I'm sure Meatloaf would not have had a music career without it. Both of those make me feel good inside. I just never got the point of this at all. Crowd participation be damned!

The voting should end now so I can win. Because, ya know, I really do deserve it.

Next we should vote on the best and worst drafters. I miss the arguments in this forum already.
