JASON VS. FREDDY by Brannon Braga and Ronald D. Moore

or

FREDDY VS JASON - A Screenplay by Peter Briggs

or

KING KONG - Screenplay by FRAN WALSH & PETER JACKSON

I didn't see House of 1K Corpses but reading the script I think a character named Miss Bunny may be an (in)famous underground puppeteer. This would be the lady in an insert doing Casablanca with stuffed animals. I've seen her stuff and this is about her speed. She operates out of LA and I wouldn't be surprised if Rob Zombie saw her stuff at some point and wrote her a small part just to be weird. Was this insert in the finished film?

Thanks for the link too.

Indeed. Kick-ass script and IIRC the very first screenplay I ever read. I really dug all the different kinds of Aliens that hatch from all the otherworldly creatures on that planet ...

I think it's based on the first few issues of the comic ...

Damn, this hack PWSA better not fuck up his version so it'll make at least a lot of cash at the BO and Fox will turn this into a franchise ... But without PWSA writing/directing all the flicks, that would kill me!

Yup, and the ending was rather badass as well! Definitely better and more satisfying than 95% of the movie endings lately.

Goddamn, they really dropped the ball when they didn't make this film!

Does anyone know what the exact reason was? I mean Fox comissioned the script, right?

Nope, that wasn't in the cut Lion's Gate put out on DVD. That doesn't mean Rob didn't shoot it, though. On his commentary track he talks a lot about being on tour with his band and just stumbling upon weird stuff and filming it and then later incorporating it into his film. An example would be this sign in the middle of the desert that proclaims: "SEE LIVE TIGERS!"

This reminds me ... I can't friggin wait for the sequel!!! Hurry, Rob, hurry!!!

The 'Freddy V Jason' shooting script is fantastic. Much better than the film (despite the fact I enjoyed it). Well worth a read...

And I just noticed they don't have it on there, yes I know I'm a dumbass.

This is the one I was thinking of.

Never read that one, kinda glad. That is a fan written piece, I'm pretty sure.
No, it's actually the shooting script - did you not notice the 'Property Of New Line' bit at the top of the page. I only posted it because it contains so many more scenes that would've improved the film no end. Instead they were filmed and then discarded by Yu because they wanted to get to the action.

Nope, they only have the Paul Anderson script for the film ... The Romero script should be pretty easy to find on the web though. I didn't like it all that much at first but it gets better after the awkward beginning.

Oh r4wk, Exorcist shooting script!

Is the script for Event Horizon anywhere online? I want to read the 30-45 minutes that got cut out of it.
