Anybody tried this puppy out?

GameInformer gave it an 8 but called it pretty much Monty Python of video games. They couldn't stop laughing.

I'm digging it, although you'll be using a plain ol' machine gun most of the time, it seems. The cool weapons are secondary only, at least so far...

played this when it first came out. I honestly don't understand the hype for this game at all. Graphics seem to be on a ps1 level, the action is repetitive, and I don't think I was close to smiling at least once.
Oh well, not for me I guess. I just don't understand.

I rented and beat it a week or so after it was released, and the humnor was really subpar- nowhere near as good as Giants: Citizen Kabuto was. And yeah, action is pretty repetitive, and the odd weapons don't get much use out of necessity. That said, the land-shark gun is probably the coolest weapon ever designed.

Isn't that the name of the John Candy - Eugene Levy movie?

Is this a game based on that???
