The first book in the series, THE FIXER, has gone out of print through Kensington, despite the fact that interest in the series is growing swiftly. Over 1000 individual letters were sent to the publisher by fans asking for a reprint, but the company decided against it.
Which was fine by me, since my publishing company has now bought the rights and will be producing a hardcover edition.
THE FIXER will be published in August and will be a 300 copy limited edition hardcover complete with a full color wrap-around dust jacket by artist Michael Corcoran, a satin ribbon page marker, and a custom made black slipcase. It will be signed by the author, the artist, and the publisher. It will contain not only the full text of THE FIXER, but also the short story that prompted the series "Past Imperfect" and Council dossiers on several of the main characters. Those that purchase the book direct from Revelation Press will also receive a special chapbook containing a brand-new-never-before-seen Lawson short story to accompany the book. At $45 plus shipping, this collectible is a steal.
