Could this be the biggest sleeper hit of the year? I'm thinking yes it could be.
I don't know anything about the Warhammer world but the game has a very Star Wars meets the Terminator world of the future. It has laser rifles but also plenty of machine guns. As you start out you get knee deep into a raging war. All around you bullets fly ships cruise overhead and tanks are destroyed and roll over the trench you're in for the entire first level.
The graphics are very good. This FPS'er reminds me alot of Call of Duty, though nowhere near its complete greatness but it is really so far an excellent game on its own. There are alot of scripted events which keep you in a linear path but the object is to get from one end of the level to the other as fast as possible. At least that's what you want to do. There are plenty of objectives to meet along the way to keep you fully occupied with the plentiful enemy army.
This game came out of nowhere. I haven't heard much talk about it and gave it a try on a whim. I am impressed. It's addictingly fun.
