Gta3

I've got a (probably well known) problem with GTA3. It runs like shit on my PC. The game delays way to much. It's really annoying and for me the game is not playable. I regret this because i really love GTA Vice City (wich runs perfect on the same system). I've upgraded the game and tried a program called "3D Analyze". But alas, it doesn't help.

Can somebody help me out??

My system:
AMD Athlon 2.7 gig CPU
512 MB Ram
Nvidia GeForce FX 5600 videocard
Windows XP

Get the latest patch, dial all your graphics down, and pray.
