Hi! i'm new, thought i'd start with my top ten

Hi i'm steve, you can call me that or call me speed or whatever. I've visited CHUD for quite a while and i thought its about time i join up here.

if theres two things i like more then watching movies, its talking about movies, and getting with a chick (preferably while watching a movie).

here's my top ten favourite movies, please dont tear them apart lol, i love them all for my own reasons. i'm sure there are a couple love it or despise it films in there, but they arent chosen by what other people think of them, they are chosen by the way they make me feel. Also ive had my number 1 film of all time in that spot for about the last ten years (i'm 21).

haha actually of the 215 dvds i own, quite a few are from before 1980, just cause i dont have any in my immediate top ten doesnt mean i dont watch them. like i said before, im not gonna add movies like citizen kane in my list although its good, i wont add them based on critical favouritism or age value alone.

all faves of mine, but i tend to keep the movies i watch the most because of the enjoyment i get from them in my list, not ones which are technically better made films.

gangs of new york, people expect way too much from this movie, to me its like a big epic graphic novel come to life, the characters are definitive graphic novel characters, things are done over the top, i dunno why the hatred towards it, cause it goes all over the place towards the end? thats life back then baby. but i love the style of this movie, everyone is grisly and hard and it has so many moments which became instant classics to me, and daniel day-lewis grabbed hold of me and stuck me in that world, his performance is that good.

8mm, sorry but im very interested in everything to do with the legend of snuff, and the world of disgusting pornography, its one thing that truly creeps the shit out of me
