Sorry, but some here like Laugharn, Matchstick, and Whitehead say things that are more than deserving of the love.

Now, the lengthy movie dialogue bits in sigs, on the other hand.....

I used to keep my sig reserved purely for Ghostbusters quotes, but Slater's "JESUS" quip in his Holiday Orgy of Despair had me laughing for at least six minutes straight. I still crack a smile when I read it.

Couldn't agree more. I'd take many a fellow Chewer's quote over the pretentious philosophy, movie dialogue, song lyrics and stream-of-conciousness crap we usually get.

Me and Davis shouted my sig to ward off strip club/brothel pimps in Wenceslas Square in Prague for vague and unremembered reasons. Dunno where that fits in the scheme of things...

The expression is actually "The exception disproves the rule."

Knowing that, Michael Bay quotes couldn't be an exception to the rule, since the rule can't really have an exception. Its like saying "I could care less." when you mean "I couldn't care less."
