It just blew me away, and the online play looks very promising. Also the jungle level is just amazing.

Nice. Very nice. Can't fucking wait. I've been reading some about this game, and it looks to surpass the original in every way. Exactly how a sequal should be done. Looks brilliant so far.

I must be one of the few people alive who thought that the first Splinter Cell was an absolute bore to play. Had to force myself to finish it.

I'll be the first to tell you that MGS 3 is gonna be one of the best games of the year (if it makes it out this year) but let's face it...this game looks unfuckwitable.

Good imagery--for some reason I expected more of a revamp of the graphics engine.

And yes, the train level looks excellent.

And is that mutliplayer that I see? Sweet.

Meh....it looks nice for sure but if it's as linear, repetitive, and devoid of interesting story or characters as the first one was, I'll pass.

I don't wanna get involved in another Metal Gear / Splinter Cell debate, as I like both games quite a bit, but I will say that anyone who thinks SC is a boring game needs to be attacked by gay ninja vampires whose left arms are possessed by the spirit of their twin brothers and whose names all sound like Le Lu La Li Lo WA WA...

That said, this new SC game looks fucking awesome.

Yeah, reading about the online play in the new EGM really gets me psyched for this one.

Spies vs. Mercs!! The options available to each one sound pretty inventive. Haven't played too many online games, so I'm not sure if this has been done before, but the different abilities of spies vs. mercs lends to some awesome sounding gameplay.

If people play the online mode 'correctly' it'll be a blast. If people just play it like any other FPS (spies running around wildly, marines firing everywhere) it'll be a worthless mess.

I'm more interested in Thief 3, but the online possibilities are worth the 50 bucks for me.
