I enjoyed the TTT and ROTK games, but ultimately it becomes a trial to finish them - they are quite simply just hack and slash, and I can't be mithered. You soldier on in the interests of completeness, but are already bored. And you don't score 100% on ROTK unless you do some daft arena type combat thing with one of the characters for about *20* rounds which takes forever.
I really don't give a toss if Legolas can kill 70 orcs and get a perfect score in his mission of killing more stuff, and my fingers hurt after repetitively mashing those buttons. In fact, even Devil May Cry, which appeared to have the same scoring system, had more interactive elements then either of the EA LOTR games.
To be honest, I liked the first Fellowship of the Ring game, with original and not movie designs. It was short but kind of cool. A bit like the heroes.
