That's a 6. Good quote, but extremely overused.

Jabba, you're Stan Brackage, cause he's experimental and your posts are often experimental, crazy like. He did this whole film composed of deteriorated film negative, which reminds me a lot of your posting style. Good stuff.

Malachi-nice quote. So like life. 9.

You are Richard Linklater, cause your posts are full of that cynical happiness thing that he has.

Billylove-let it all out, man. 4

You are the Shaw Bros, because they too understood the power of the ninja.

"With a bit of luck, his life was ruined forever. Always thinking that just behind some narrow door in all of his favorite bars, men in red woolen shirts are getting incredible kicks from things he'll never know. "

Okay so it's technically a book quote...so sue me.

Rommel-Very nice. Funny. Pointed. Poignant. 8 points.

You are George P. Cosmatos, who directed Tombstone. Not that your quote has anything to do with Tombstone besides the Wyatt association, but it was shot in the desert, home of Rommell.

Conn-I remember I got to see the Thing introduced by John Carpenter. One of the premiere filmgoing experiences of my life. That's not my favorite quote from the movie, though, so I give you 7 points.

You are director John Millius, because he's a hard core in your face highly intelligent motherfucker. A lot like you.

Tony Ryan-Close, but not close enough. I had no idea what that meant. 9 points.

Tony, you are the bastard child of Brian De Palma and Michael Moore. You get two because both are guys I think of when I think of you, and I can't choose one without losing inherent Tony qualites in the other. P

Andre-NIIIIIICCCCE (and bad-ass, too). 8 points

You are Howard Hawks, because your posts are so varied, yet work on so many different levels, and we can still point to your posts as having a singluar Andreian quality. Much like the auteur in Hawkes. But you don't hate Peckinpah, because that's just WRONG.

Django-Funny. Very memorable. Scary. 9 points

You're John Carpenter. Because he takes no shit from ANYONE. And he's his own man. And he doesn't care. And there's one smart bad-ass motherfucker underneath that leathery chain-smoking interior. So much like you. Keep on keepin', man.

Parker-That's an odd, quote, but not too memorable, so I'll give you a 6.

Parker, you are Frank Capra, because even though you haven't been around for long (or maybe you have, it's late, and I'm stupid), you always have your chin up in the air and even though you go dark at times, you always show the bright side of life. No man is worthless who has friends. The people, Norton, try and beat that!

Gracie-that quote reminds me of Gangs of New York for some reason, one of my favorite films. But points deducted because it IS from a book. 6 points.

You are Penelope Spheriss, because her films always seem to make me smile when I'm down. Just like you.

yt-Memorable. True. Hard-core. 8 points

You are Mary Harron. Cause she's smart, you're smart, she's hard core, you're hard core. And I don't know, she seems like someone who might also post on Devincf.com.

yt, I love you. And that's not the Foster's talking.

And it's Hawks, Rath. Who hated Sam Peckinpah, but well, I'll take the exception.

(sigh) Everyone loves "You gotta be fuckin' kidding." better. The last line of the film is great too.

It's hard to determine a favorite movie quote - there's so many great ones. I'll go with something more serious, as opposed to some of my favorite funny quotes:

A hooker taking a dick in the eye isn't memorable and reminds you of Frank Capra?

Right on!

Strax-Classic. 8

Strax, you're Danny Boyle, cause he's English, you're English, he seems really smart, and you're really smart. Also, you'd probally also have directed Alien Ressurection better.

Lee Harvey-Memorable. 7

You're Danny De Vito. No reason, just because you have Cobblepot in your name. Also, he directed Matilda, which is a really good kids film. And Death To Smoochy, which I quite enjoy.

Dude-hmmmm. Don't know that one. 5.

Dude, you're George Romero, because you know more about zombies than anyone I know, and you're always willing to share that info. Punch John Russo for me.

Momo-I love Jack Black

You're the Weitz brothers, because they too can be crude, but then have a softy sweet interior. Keep on rockin'.

L7-Divide a 7 amongst the two.

You are Kevin Smith, because he understands the beauty of language, and he knows how to have a helluva a good time.

Kronos-Not that memorable, then again, it's almost 9 and my filmic knowledge is lacking. 6.

You are Californian Poet Curtis Hanson, director of my favorite movie of all time, LA Confidential.

g-dude-I'm not sure where that is from, either, but I like the sound of it. 8.

You're Ivan Reitman, cause he directed Ghostbusters, and you dig Ghostbusters. I also dig Ghostbusters, especially Ghostbusters 2. Rock on with your socks off. And back off, cause you're a scientist who built their own power pack. Just awesome.

Cap'n Euc-Buckaroo Banzai. A Classic. 9.

You're Mel Gibson, cause he loves his kids, and he loves Jesus, but he makes good art, too. Just like you. Can't wait for the next chapter!

Chuckie Brigden-I'm gonna cry now. 10.

You're Peter Jackson, because in many ways, I think of you both as the ultimate geeks. Sort of like "super-geek." The geek that all geeks aspire to be. Also, Peter Jackson's cool. And I wish I could have been there to meet you at Logan Con 03!

Goldberg-Kevin Smith is kind of overrated, but Chasing Amy is his best film.

You're Joss Whedon. 'Nuff said.

Slater-I dig the Vigoda. 8.

You're Steven Spielberg, because you both understand the line between High Art and Low Art, and you both don't give a damn, which I admire. Now if only Spielberg would make a pirate movie...

Jankis-Is that from Fight Club? Soudns like it is. Good little movie. 6.

You're Christopher Nolan, although if you fuck Batman up, I'm going to personally hunt you down and punch you in the face, Frank Miller style.

Anyawatcher-You know, to get off on a tangent here, I used to not like you, but now, I think you're one of my favorite posters on here. Mainly because you've made me take a second look at Buffy/Whedon related stuff, and you're one of the few people on here that I can discuss it intelligently with and just geek out over it. Your quote gets a...8.

You're Bryan Singer, because you're both smart, and sort of geeky, and acidic at times too.

Rylander-I'm not sure where that's from, but I dig it. 7.

You're Robert Zemeckis, for no other reason than I dig you, and I dig Back to the Future, and I dig a lot of Zemeckis' other work. He's always been consistant, just like your posts.

sorro-Yes. A classic. 10.

You are Michael Curtiz, who directed The Adventures of Robin Hood and Casablanca and a bunch of other classic films. High adventure. And you're an adventurous guy. Keep on keepin.

Cosmoline-That's an interesting one. 8.

I don't know you too well, but I'd like to, as you're new. A new filmmaker that I'd like to see more of is Richard Kelly, who directed Donnie Darko. So you're him.

Jennifer-hmmmm. That sounds SO familiar. What is it from, so haunting? 9.

You're Kathryn Bigelow, cause shes' a bad ass take no shit chick, just like you.
