Mine would have to be the scene in "Judgement Night" that ends with Piven being thrown off a building by Dennis Leary.
I wonder if he dubbed his own scream there...?

The scene in Singles where he does the impression of Public Enemy being cut with Elvis Costello.

Cupid was underappreciated; but it's tough to beat his "College 101" speech in PCU (which was funny even though it tried too damn hard) - paraphrased - "OK, you wanna know about college? Got a car?"
"No"
"Find someone who does, make friends the first day; classes, nothing before 11 am; beer, it's your best friend, you drink a lot of it; girls, you're a freshman, so that's pretty much outta the question. Anything else?"

I liked him as Dr Bob in Heat. In that one scene that lasts about 40 seconds.

I'll second that, but add the whole confrontation between him and Dennis Leary before he gets thrown off. That's just a funny scene altogether, but the fact that Piven gets tossed off the roof by a rag-doll and screams like a 9 year old getting reamed by a humpback whale just makes it hilarious.

Classic Piven. He's also deathly good in Serendipity. A movie that me and my mommy liked but apparently no one else.
