I have made these threads even more passe than they were to start with.

By the time I finish mine, you/we/I will regard each of these "I will assign..." threads with the same heightened anticipation that you'd now bring to a thread concerning, I dunno, Episode One or something.

Yeah, what was the first one? Book, album? Rating musical or literary taste?

Did you crib it from some other board, or was it your own creation?

It starts as "Post something and I will compliment you" then it moves on to "I will assign you a movie" then it just explodes.

THAT'S RIGHT! I think in response to one of those "Devin's a prick!" waves of outcry (can we identify those by date, or number, or what?) he started the "I will compliment you" thread as a sort of counterbalance.

It's always great to find out which monkey let loose the first traces of ebola.
