Went to a strip club last night

Eh, figured more people would see it if I posted it here as opposed to the sex forum.

Wow. That was fucking fun. Me and like 8 other people went, didn't get home till like 3:30 in the morning.

This was my first time, so it was an interesting experience to say the least. I was nervous about going, but 10 minutes in I felt right at home.

I can't wait to go again.

Anyone else like to go?

I usually only go either for work stuff (promotions and such) or for bachelor parties. I find they're fun for what they are - can't argue with naked boobies and lots of 'em, but overall the whole experience of dropping 50 or 60 bucks on women who are NOT going to go home with you kind of pointless.

Though I have to say, I used to just sit at the stage and drop cash, but I've since discovered the joy of lappers, which at the best place in town here run about 20 bucks and as long as you're spending money, I find to be well worth it.

We went for one bachelor party and my cousin just sat back and watched, which resulted in me yelling at him "They aren't dancing for their health, ya prick! Drop some money!"

Yeah, basically I can see how someone might waste a TON of cash at one of these places without even thinking twice. We were doing table dances for 4 bucks a shot which is pretty much a lot of grinding and stuff so that was fucking great. I didn't do any of the couch dances for 20 bucks but I definitely will next time. Couple of my friends did, one said it's not worth it and the other one said it was incredible so I guess it depends on the girl.

It was a great time, really, and there I was nervous about going.

One of the girls got downright nasty with us, though. She asked if any of us were ready for a dance, and you know....basically we would just say "Maybe later" or something like that. One time, I said that, and she was like "Maybe later is just a bullshit meaning for No" and just walked away.

But there was this one that gave several of us table dances. She was amazing. She had a German accent and she had the most perfect body. She sits on your lap with her legs open and whispers into your ear and bites it. Fucking awesome.

Man, I still haven't come down from all of this. I need to get out more.

We used to hit a particular club in Atlanta for about a year in 1991-92 or so. It was pretty fun... expensive, but fun time. Enjoy it. Don't believe a thing they tell you. Don't get attached. Just have fun and remember who's in charge.

I have been to many. Love them.

Three things I look for in the "talent": quality, variety and interactivity.

A club called Goldfinger's (purportedly James Bond themed, but not so much) in Prague is the reigning champion.

Most I ever dropped in one visit was around $600, took a friend to Vegas for his bachelor party and had more fun than he did.

Funny, I had my first whore over the weekend. Gee whiz, it was fun! Sometimes she didn't seem that into me, and one time she had to get up to feed her baby, an she had these funny track marks on her arm, but other than that, it was neat.

Seriously, I know a couple of strippers and if you knew what they think of the sad sacks who frequent their clubs - disgusting creeps to be fleeced as soon as possible.

But what's worse than visiting one of these meat-markets is rushing on-line to brag about it. Have you no shame? You might as well post that you had a great splooge whilst peeping through a glory-hole in the men's restrooms. At a soup kitchen for the homeless.

The laws and regulations surrounding strip clubs differ between Canada and America. Significantly, in Canada, it used to be illegal to "tip" strippers, thus the culture of tipping is non-extistant, though it is starting to catch-on.

As result of no tipping, Canadian strippers have less earning potential and thus turn to alternate means of earning an income. Which leads to an enhanced association between strip-clubs, drug use and prostitution. Which is why I prefer to visit the peelers Canada.

Or maybe... MAYBE... some people just like to look at naked women, and don't really mind paying a few bucks to see bodies you don't regularly find in the "real world".

But hey, if your limited acumen considers that delusional, deviant behavior that is apparently the equivalent of retaining the services of a crack whore, I guess it is your problem. At least you're not at all didactic about it...

Gotta say, I'm a wholehearted fan of lap dancing clubs and have no problem being a schmo who lays down a bit of cash to see a beautiful girl make like she's really aroused around me for a few minutes. Just like I wouldn't have any problem with switching to a session with House Of Ass Vol 2 if I felt the need to flick one off the wrist should the desire so strike. Like Nick says, never believe anything in that fantasy land, just enjoy the hell out of it anyway.

Montreal's pretty great if you go to the right places (tip: stay the hell away fro Cleopatra's) but Goldfingers in Prague is indeed paradise. Especially at Christmas. I'll never listen to "Last Christmas" by Wham!, "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" by Frank Sintra or Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas" (which I'm sure isn't quite appropriate) quite the same way again...

Actually, I've never been to a club in London. I think Davis has, Spearmint Rhino "gentleman's" clubs which ain't all that.

Given our very Carry On... attitude to lady parts, once you get passed Page 3-level titilation, we've got the most Draconian club policies outside of Muslim states which charge you £150 for non acoholic champagne on a strictly topless-only policy and who'll break your legs if you don't pay up...

OR...

you can go to Stringfellows which is the hangout of the Robbie Williamses of this world, again not cheap - probably about twice as much as the same kind of place in Montreal or Prague. Better yes, but not for the mere mortals or people with any particular taste.

The continent is where it's at. And they know it.

I've been to both men and women strip clubs and prefer watching women. Most men who are good to look at (big muscular guys), are also the least agile. They try and dance sexily and look like robots.

As for the women being in charge, its so true. My friend almost got his ass beat down at another friends bachelor party when he ordered a lap dance. The woman knew exactly what to do to get him to keep agreeing for another and another. $200 worth of lap dances later when the woman asked for her loot, my friend couldn't pay. Bouncers were called and as they loomed toward him, my other friends saw what was happening and had to bail him out of the mess.

Moral of the story: Always have a buddy with you who can either tell you when you have had enough or will bail you out when you go overbudget.

Most, if not all strip clubs in the US suck. The only decent one there ever existed was the Gold Club in Atlanta. The rest are filled with over-body-pierced, fuckin'-tatoo-in-every-place-conceiveable, cigarette burnt, bullet-hole & cellulite-ridden women. Even the ones in Vegas and LA are getting fuckin' lame.

There's nothing like the ones on Montreal. Women there fine, fine, fine!!!!

I mean, my impression of a strip club is that you pay to go in there, and the chicks derobe and gyrate anyway. Why would you have to pay more on top of that? I mean, can these girls get any more naked, other than in a Creature Corner pulling off their own skin and dancing on top of it horrifically kind of way?

I guess it's no different than going to a restaurant. You pay for your food, but you give some extra for the service. You pay even more for GREAT service.

As for me... I'm done with them... I'm married and talking about kids, now. Been there and done that. It was fun, and the occasional bachelor party may show me some boobage, but it's plastic, and I don't mean just the tits. It's all plastic... it's make believe for the young. Enjoy it now, but don't let it become your hobby.

I love strip clubs. My favorite during the college years was a place called Big Earl's Gold Mine. It was a really raunchy joint but was BYOB. Drop a ten dollar cover & walk in with a 30 of Old Style. Actually enabled one to have a reasonably priced night at the club.

it depends which continent you are referring to. continental europe? i would for instance never go to a stripclub in italy - they are nasty, tacky and charge you ludicrous amounts of money for pretty much nothing. also, a couple of friends of mine went to a stripclub in stockholm, sweden, when they were mildly drunk (bad idea) and got out of there with about $700 less in their pockets and they had not even got a lousy lapdance for it. that's not nice.

i liked "stringfellows" in london. it had a sort of vegas vibe.
