What the hell should I do with my life? I'll be 23 next month, and I feel I've reached a rutt... No more ambition, no desire, and confused ALL the time. Kick my ass in the right direction, what the fuck should I be doing?

How much time do you have to put in until your degree is completed?

Get the degree if you can, because it's nice to fall back on if you need it later, and it will get you many jobs, not even in your field, if you have it.

College is good inspiration, as are getting dumped by a cruel woman and accidentally shooting your daddy while trying to snap the rope that dangles him from a gallows.

I just turned 23 last week, and I still have a ways to go in school. I feel pretty disillusioned too sometimes, but that's why we have alcohol.

Nonsense! 23! You're at a crappy age. Truly. When you came out of momma all wet and sticky I was play Dungeons and Dragons, smoking dope and getting laid. I may not be the smartest guy around but I've lived long enough to see some shit.

An option not available on your poll was chilling out. This is what I advise. Things get better. Not easier mind you, there's always a challenge God knows there's always something. But finish your degree. It's like a ticket to Disneyland. Maybe you don't know what rides you'll get on but at least you get in. There is stuff waiting for you (and me, I taint dead yet) that you could never imagine or ever expect. It can all happen in a day, good or bad.

See, this is why I shouldn't post after a couple of drinks. Next thing you know I'll end up in Bunny Dracula's apartment wearing a dog collar going WTF!

I dread the inevitable morning I wake up and think exactly that. Just do what feels right I guess.
