WHERE THE HELL IS THIS GUY, the last good movie he did was Casino. I haven't seen him in anything since Lethal Weapon 4 and it wasn't eaxctly his finest hour, although, that talk he had with Mel at the end was kind of touching. Last I heard he was going to play Sammy 'the Bull' Gravano in a movie but nothing happened.

The last thing Pesci was attached to that I know of was some bizarre project called "Missconception" about sperm/egg donors or something. He was going to star with Rene Russo. Project pretty much died in 2001.

CAA dropped him as a client, by the way, so maybe he's just not doing the acting-thing anymore.

Here he is, second from left, at some golf charity thing last year (in shades):

Stakeout 3: I know sequels mke cash but come on! 'Marked Man' sent in this scoop which I hope to God is not what it appears:

"I was informed today of auditions that took place late last week for a third film in the "Stakeout" series that was starring Richard Dreyfuss, Emilio Estevez and Madeleine Stowe. They're apparently looking for someone very short, stubby, and funny...all of which my friend **** says he isn't, for what he presumes was the villain role. Also on offer are roles for Ethnic / Dark looking people, pref. speaking their native and english language. They only referred to the project as 'Stakeout 3', and it's again happening over at Mickey's den (aka Disney). Surprised to say the least that they would even bother with such a sequel. My friend is not even getting a look-in in terms of a role, so at least they're being selective with actors"

It's amazing we've gone a whole decade without Joe Pesci anything save for the "I'm not dead guys" cameo in that CIA movie.   I guess he got tired of playing funny Itallian stereotypes or scary Itallian stereotypes.   The guy is due for a comeback.   Maybe he can do something on "Damages".    That would be a smart career move (granted he still wants to act which isn't even certain).
