Dylan, check out Lady From Shanghai for more audacious Welles shenanigans.

It's good flicker.
DJ Dylan, did you guys also watch The Battle Over Citizen Kane?
I feel like knowing what went on behind the scenes makes that film twice as enjoyable.

The gal that plays the missing girl in Spartan (Kristen Bell) also appeared in Pootie Tang (a movie I recently watched and enjoyed). She played Record Executive's Daughter. I have no idea if she based her performance in Pootie Tang on her real life experience as a daughter of a record exec. I'm guessing yes. She was THAT convincing.

No, we did not watch that. But I've seen it. I'd never seen Citizen Kane from beginning to end, just bits and pieces of it. I'm so glad I got the chance to see it in its entirety though.

Devon Sawa (Idle Hands, Final Destination, Casper) appeared last year in Extreme Ops and has a movie coming out this year called Extreme Dating.

Jesus. From one extreme to the other.

Last night I saw the Garden State trailer for the first time, and learned that it rules.

And that I watched all the same films in my History of Cinema class as DJ Dylan.

That movie also had a very young Sarah Polley.
The actor, Charles Laughton never directed another movie after 'Night Of The Hunter' thanks to the bad reviews it recieved.

After watching 'The Last Boy Scout' I learned that Halle Berry has pretty much no talent and, outside of 'Monsters Ball' manages to deliver all of her performances in exactly the same way.

I learnt that the Emilio Estevez starrer 'Judgment Night' is a damn good film.

I also learnt that sadly, the sequel to 'Dungeons & Dragons' has been recently scrapped by the producer during the Pre-Production phase.

Rashomon bored the shit out of me pretty much. It was beautiful technically, but I wasnt much in love with anything other then the technical work on the movie.
You'd love Tokyo Story.

Today I learned that John Wayne was origonally offered the role of Dirty Harry. But coulden't do it because of commitments to do several westerns.

Sorry if i'm like the last one to know this, but the idea of John Wayne playing Dirty Harry just blows my mind.

Nicholas Rowe , who played Sherlock Holmes in the cult favorite, Young Sherlock Holmes, also showed up in Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels as a pothead named J.

Jim Broadbent was in Time Bandits. He played the host of the popular gameshow Your Money or Your Life.

Incidentally, the kid from the movie (Craig Warnock) is still a working actor. Well, sometimes.

My friend watches the credits everytime we see a movie to see if Mo Henry cut it.

Today I learned that Bruce Campbell produced the worst movie I've ever seen. Hatred of a Minute. Is he blind???
Hatred of a Minute is extremely bad. But Campbell's commentary is gold. Only this time the false modesty isn't so false and the self-deprecation is earned.

I hope you didn't hate the movie so much that you skipped the commentary.

Unbelievable! I thought I was the only person in this world to notice this. Maybe your friend and I were separated at birth...

I learned to today that Shawnee Smith is in the upcoming horror movie Saw.

Which reminds me: Along with his other parts, Robert Shaw's knee was a shark snack.

The "wrong Ryan", the first guy mistaken for Pvt. Ryan in Saving Private Ryan, is the captain of the Serenity on Firefly, Nathan Fillion.
Ben Stiller was in 'Next of Kin' with Patrick Swayze. He played a gangster.
Tarantino needs to prove he's not a one-note director, and Memento was nothing special.
Otto or Up with Dead People is complete and utter shit.

Today? Nine.

Blackwoods, Bloodrayne, Bloodrayne 2, Far Cry, Heart of America, Postal, Sanctimony, Seed, Tunnel Rats + he also also showed up in Boll's recently produced Alone in the Dark 2, which means they actually worked together on 10 projects.

Explain.

Also, when they would argue, Pesci put her head in a vise.
I heard that when they had sex, the moment Pesci was down to his underwear he would insist that Angie beat him senseless with a baseball bat and drag him into a pit.
The strange thing is, when they would have sex, she would hang him up coat hanger on the back of their door.
