Creature Corner quote on German UNDEAD DVD!!!

Yeah, I'm not sure but is that the first time the Corner has a quote on a DVD cover?

Did Johnny really like the film? I know some of the bosses here hated its guts (or was that just The Inspector?).

Anyway, cool stuff and one more reason to look forward to the German DVD I guess!

PS: Release date should be April 2004 which means it should be available long before the US release. I dunno about the Australian DVD ... It was supposed to come out sometime in January but all the Aussie online stores know nothing about it ...

I believe Johnny and the girlcreeture listed Undead as one of their favorites last year. I didn't know Butane could speak German. He is one talented dude!

Fuckin' cool! It's not our first quote on a DVD (that would belong to Beyond Re-Animator), but it's the first quote from one of my reviews. NICE!

In Australia, 'Undead' has got a rental release but it hasn't gone to retail yet. The cover has pull quotes from Tony Timpone of 'Fangoria', AICN's Harry and the Corner's Johnny Butane - he says: "Awesome...showing Hollywood how it should be done. One of the coolest and more original concepts I've seen in some time."

It's a pretty loaded disc: 2 commentaries (one cast, one crew), a making-of documentary, plenty of other behind-the-scenes stuff. Almost enough to make me re-evaluate 'Undead'. Almost.

Yeah, Johnny...well, the back cover. Harry, Tony and a reviewer from 'Empire' get the front, but you do share the back with noted Aussie stuffed-shirt David Stratton (who says "'Undead' deserves cult status").

Johnny, for future reviews try using variations on:

"the most frightening film since [movie x]."

or

"makes [movie x] look like a walk in the park!"

or you could even try a King style

"I have seen the future of horror... AND HIS NAME IS [DIRECTOR Y]."

and see where that gets you.

Excellent idea, I hadn't thought of that...and I'll be sure to place it randomly within the review, like as it's own paragraph, so anyone scanning for quotes will see it that much easier.

Soon Creature Corner will be the authority on the future of horror and walks in the park....

BUT......

If you give a bad review but still manage to give a compliment they will use that compliment as a quote. Seen it a million times for other movies
