Definately not this.

My VICIOUS Review

Might I suggest SNAKE ISLAND or PINATA: SURVIVAL ISLAND instead?

Get a lobotomy instead... it's a 1000 times more fun.

If you really want to have a good time you could rent

-Vicious
-Leeches
-Children of the living dead
-Reign of darkness

Then you'll be begging for that lobotomy.

Cheers!

Watching Legion of the Dead is very much like holding your eyeballs over a candle flame

Try Speed Demon, that should fit the bill of gayness.

David DeCoteau (The Brotherhood, II and III, Leeches) makes the Queerest unscary pathetic horror I've ever seen...

Unless your idea of a good horror movie is; male teens slowly undressing in slow-motion while extremely lame music (And the sound of a heart beating) is playing and the camera pans all over the guys body don't touch this crap with a 10 foot pole.

You've been warned. This is the Queerest horror ever made, it is almost soft pornish.

And if that’s your idea of horror well then have at it.

Unpleasant dreams!

Cheers!

But let me guess, if it was a female teen slowly undressing in slow motion while extremely lame ass music(And the sound of a heart beating) is playing and the camera pans all over the girl's body, it would be great right?

I think the point he's making is that since horror movies are generally geared towards male audiences that's not the sort of thing your typical male horror movie watcher wants to see. In many action movies the muscular hero usually ends up shirtless but it usually filmed in such a manner as to have blatant homoerotic overtones.

Some girl invites herself along on the boys only camping trip, then refuses to let them drink beer, and they put up with it!

Well I got to admit that I would have liked that much better. Sorry for not being gay I suppose. But it still would not make a good horror movie, maybe a better soft porn movie.

Unless the girls are decomposing maggot heaps of rotting flesh.

The movie is lame from start to finish. The leeches are pulled with fishing wire for God sakes. The actors (if you can call them that) actually have to hold on to the leeches or they would drop off.

So unless the male body freaks you out, and seing young teens slowly undress scares you this is not a horror movie, it is a soft porn gay fantasy ride, get it. Nothing horrific to see here move along.

Fer Christ sakes the leeches actually attack and kill people by sucking them dry by “attaching” themselves to the cheeks... that makes a lot of sense doesn't it... everyone knows that, this is where the major arteries are, in the cheeks.

Even a healthy dose of women nakedness couldn’t pull this flaming piece of shit out of the gutter of abominable horror movies that should never have been made in the first place, understand.

I guess so but dammit, I get tired of seeing the gay references when the men start getting naked. Geez, horror and wrestling, you'd think I was supposed to have been a guy or something because everything that I love or once loved is geared toward men. *sigh*

Whatever happened to the days of "Murder Weapon," man?

I dunno. You can't justify it, man - it just happens.

One thing you have to keep in mind is that David DeCoteau is openly gay and tends to make movies that have homoerotic overtones. Problem is that the man is a horror director, a genre generally geared towards (not gay) men, and its not as if the descriptions on the movie boxes give you a clue to the movie's gay subtext as most movies geared towards a gay audience do. You're just watching this cheesy horror movie and suddenly you got slow motion shots of studly young men in their underwear getting hosed down.

Well being a woman, that sounds like a slice of heaven to me. LOL I say you can never have enough studly young men in their underwear and if the homoerotic stuff gets to be too much, I'll just imagine it's plain ole vanilla fun.

On a different note, I think its great that men have stuff like that to make them realize that not all women enjoy seeing other nude or nearly nude women every 10 minutes in a horror or any other kind of horror movie.

Try watching LEECHES! and doing that. Its a movie about studly young scantily clad men getting sucked to death. Take special notice of the scenes where one of them will be sleeping while the obvious hand puppet leech crawls up their body ever so lovingly.

Actually, I'd think you would be more bothered by the violent horror/slasher movies that were obviously made by men who seem to have some serious issues with the opposite sex as evidenced by the excessive brutality of the kills.

There is another atrocious review over at Fangoria.com, looks like NO ONE liked this. I wonder why all these sites are picking on this DTV movie to review, there are better ones out there!
