House of The Dead DVD question

Right.......



I am tempted by the DVD. I know, I know, but hear me out!
I haven't seen it yet. The trailers do look really, really bad but they look so bad that it could be quite funny.

Is there anything to reccommend it?

I'm curious to see just how bad it is... but what's confusing is the bit about Romero's and Savini's bit during the behind the scenes stuff. How the hell did that happen? And a pitch for the fourth dead flick?

I've heard so many bad things about House of the Dead that I'm actually looking forward to seeing it, lol. I don't think I've read a single good comment about it...anywhere! But if its as bad as everyone says it is, then it should be fun to watch, especailly with a group of friends. I have no intention of buying it though. I may wait until it comes to cable or maybe a friend will rent it out one night.

I'm disappointed that Uwe Boll is only featured in a group commentary. I was hoping for a track with him alone. The guy speaks some of the funniest English I have ever heard and having him rant and rave while the cinematic diarrhea unspools (unstools?) surely would've been priceless.

Here's the link to my original review for the Corner. Trust me, this movie has absolutely nothing going for it to recommend. Not even bad in a fun way.

Read my review...believe it or not, I could've been meaner.

Here is a question for Ryan.
Do the deleted scenes contain the plot?
Also, is there and extended or alternate ending where the characters all turn to the camra and apoligyse?

Sorry Inspector, but I've got to disagree. This is one of the most unintentionally funny movie I've seen in ages. It isn't so much fun bad as it is Ed Wood bad.

For those interested, my long overdue in-depth review where I basically MST3K every aspect of the movie will be in my FOYEURISM column at my Schlocktoberfest site by weekend's end. I think every scene in the movie had something to make fun of.

I'll have to buy this movie simply because everytime someone says they have seen the worst movie ever made and it isn't House of the Dead I can have a copy on hand to show them the light. This is hands down the worst movie I've ever seen (someone who has seen every Ed Wood movie and From Justin to Kelly). I can't justify spending more than a few bucks on it, though, so I may just wait till it makes its eventual appearance in the Wal-Mart $5 bin.

I haven't bothered to see Darkness Falls, but trust me...nothing...NOTHING, in recent memory can beat the stunning, pants shitting, laugh out loud awfulness of House of the Dead! If you love bad movies BUY THE DVD IMMEDIATELY!
