Greatest Villain Entrances

The entrance of a Villain can really solidify them as the toughest most bad ass guy in town, if done right their sinisterness will be onscreen from frame oneSo do you have any other great villain entrances?

I was watching Highlander last night, and what an amazing entrance Kurgan has, in my opinion it's right up there with Darth Vader's.

I'm not sure if this can really count as in entrance but Sam Neil in Event Horizon, when you see him all scarred up chillin in the Captn's chair.

The Duke in Escape from LA, the chandeliers are priceless.

Lucifer in End of Days, when he takes over byrne, the perfect glare.

samura in the Ring, when she actually is shown...

Alex's is pretty good in the beginning of A Clockwork Orange.

That was pretty nice in The Last Temptation of Christ, the way the little demon brings the crucifixion scene to a screeching halt.

When you finally get to see the Tooth Fairy in Manhunter, looming over Freddy with a panty on his head, it's pretty convincingly weird.

Fatima Blush gets a pretty good entrance in Never Say Never Again. What a cool villianess she was.

But in this category, Frank Booth in Blue Velvet is the reigning champion.

Although some may dispute him being a villian, James Mason's introduction as Captain Nemo in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea is great, a real movie moment.

Also:

--Henry Fonda in Once Upon a Time in the West. "Well, now that you said my name..."

The materializaion of Gozer in Ghostbusters.

Xur's blue head hologram in The Last Starfighter.

Hellbound: Hellraiser II

Dr Channard in Cenobite form.

Rising up from the depths Hell as a cenobite and stepping out the transformation chamber. The music swells and he looks down at what he has become.

"And to think... I hesitated"

DARTH MAUL!!! zhoom zhoom! WEEEE-KOW.

No really, it wasn't his initial entrance, but when those damn doors parted at the end of TPM, things got REAL quiet. Badassery, amongst a film so full of regular, assery.

Sort of SPOILER star wars:

true that, star wars always has the best entrances. I bet when vader shows up in episode 3 it will be the best though.

Zorg from the 5th Element.

He had his full assed name read out as they intro'd him and he was first seen back on... if I remember correctly. Although come to think of it... I might be off there.

Damn it. I have to say Marcellus Wallace then... the whole scene with him and Bruce Willis in Pulp Fiction sets the whole standard of badass don't-fuck-with-me attitude without even showing his face.
