Hey i wouldn't mind helping you. I go to full sail in winter park for recording arts and i'm looking into getting into audio post. So if you need sound, count me in and i'll drag some of my friends to help. Full Sail also has a film school as well (how good it is i'm not quite sure, I've heard both good and bad), so maybe you can find some students/graduates from there.

Indie Horror Filmmakers

I have just the thing for you. There is an Indie Filmmaker gathering set up for a week from Wednesday in Ybor City Tampa. Several local filmmakers who are in the middle of pre-production on several short and feature length Horror films will be there. I highly recommend you attend as the networking is what this meeting is all about. It won't cost you a cent and be a place where you will make the best contacts. Uncle Creepy of Fangoria.com will be the host along with me. My new company Enigma Films is also preparing to go into pre-production on a Horror anthology film called 'All Hallows Eve' as soon as 'The Nightmare Collection' is off to the distributor. I'd be happy to discuss that with you as well there. Pass the word to everyone you think might be interested. Actor, Actress, Crew, Writer, anyone.

See you there!

Travis,
Hi! I'm Andy L., a Tampa Bay filmmaker. We're about to release a short horror film entitled "Filthy" soon (hopefully in March) which I co-produced/directed and wrote. "Filthy" will be showing at the TamBay Film Festival (Tampa) sometime between April 23 - 25. Look out for it. Here's the TamBay link:
http://www.tambayfilmfest.com/

TamBay has a lot of good films from some friends of mine too. Their projects include: "Night Demons" (despite the title, it's not horror; it's about Vietnam. ND was shot on 16mm), "Homeland Security", Robert (FearFilm) Massetti's "Realms of Blood", and Guzzo's "A Joyce Story", . I'm familiar with some of the other films from the popular "Saints & Sinners" film festival held twice a year in St. Petersburg, such as "The Monkey's Paw" and "Call Doctor or Die!".

Tampa Bay has a surprisingly lively indie/horror film scene. We're all like a big club down here. I'd strongly suggest attending the meeting at Romeo's Coffee House in Ybor City on the 18th if you can make it. Hope to see you there!

We look forward to seeing anybody who'll come to the meeting in Ybor. There is a strong Indie film community here and it's about time we started to unite and get some things done. Should be a great time.

I can't tonight. I'm shooting a scene with a transvestite calling upon a spirit (played by Lloyd Kaufman, but shot a year ago.)
