Please stop making movies.

Look at their craptacular lineup:

There's some non-Sci-Fi made ones in there, but you can tell which ones came from them.
The Scifi Channel doesn't have a good track record when it comes to making original movies. But I thought their recent "Battlestar Galactica" remake and the two "Dune" Mini-series were exceptionally well done. I certainly enjoyed them.

yes, that Bruce Campbell one was on again last night, caught bits of it... the poor guy just flounders without a decent director.

that black-eyed Burgess Meredithalike was the only good thing about it.

They actually made an adaptation of a Deathlands novel? Oh I have just GOT to see this!

Do you think I should start an online petition?

Inferno

Yes I was tricked too. and the Inferno they played was complete and utter ass. All ready for argento and i got James Remar.

Pythons2, Bugs and Alien lockdown weren't actually that bad. SciFi has really been on the nature gone amok trip lately. Seems like thats all they play anymore

Dear Sci-Fi,

Did I do something to offend you?
Why do you hurt me like this?

Sincerely,
The Dude

Deathlands: Homeward Bound...starring Traci Elizabeth Lords, huh?

Yeah, I guess if you want everyone to forget your porno past, putting a middle name out there will be the answer to all your problems.

Hell yes. I'd fucking sign that shit.

Vincent Spano SO wants to be Viggo Mortensen.

Billy Zane can do so much better.

Shane Brolly sucks ass. I found his character Kraven in "Underworld" to be fucking clown shoes. And he was on the syndicated shit-fest "Nightman". And where is his British accent?

I could go on with how some of these were MEANT to go straight to video, but I won't.
Do you people actually pay for this shit?

In that case I understand your frustration. But sending letters won't achieve anything. Unsubscribe, cancel, whatever.

I have nothing against nature amok flicks but why does it always have to be the same old boring snakes, spiders and crocodiles? That shit is getting soo old! Why don't they make a film about man-eating giraffes or carnivorous polar bears? That would be fun!
It's funny, because I read a script called "Frankenfish" that was filmed in Alabama while we were in Kazakhstan. It was actually really a fun script, but I don't think that it is the same movie as the one on Sci Fi about snakeheads.
Whoa! Hold on now! Nobody's a bigger critic of the Sci-Fi Channel's original movies than I am but I'm actually looking forward to SNAKEHEAD TERROR. I know it'll probably suck but I'm holding out hope for it and CURSE OF THE KOMODO. Save your boycotts and petitions until afterwards.

In one word.....No.

I enjoyed the series of books, they were interesting and not a bad read, the movie is just craptastic.

I wanna party with this guy

Not only they seem to make movies that involve nature they seem start to make movies that rip from other movies. They had one movie that look like a rip off from the Matrix Reloaded with cloths and a few scenses. And another one where the creature look like it got rip from Alien. I am surprise they are not sue not for it.

Polar bears are carnivorous, as evidenced by their devouring those kids that broke into the zoo in New York City back in the '80's. Do a movie on that - that's a movie I'd go see!

I was wondering who was the audience for those films. They seem like a nice bunch though.

They seem nice although not completely sane.

That said, they'll love what I'm going to be reporting on tomorrow morning.

Franken-Fish is also known as Bayou. It's by the same writer as the upcoming supernatural horror film Dead Birds. Supposed to be VERY gory.

See, I think we need a remake of the superb Italian production "The Wild Beasts."

It features all sorts of animals run amok...even a polar bear.

Me and Wetbones would go see it...

Bruce and I made some dead horses that were used in "Dead Birds". And they were really gory. And yes "Frankenfish" was really over the top in its kill factor. I was under the understanding that they were going to tone down the version that I read, but I don't know if that happened or not.

Oh wow. Now if only we could get Antonio Sabato Jr. and Dean Cain to finally duke it out as well, I'd be satisfied.

As far as i know Bayou is NC-17...I'm sure it will be cut down, but there was tons of gore filmed. You did the dead horses? Nice. I saw the Almost Human creature on set...very cool.
