Different Versions per Region...

Just a random question...

Just happened to be browsing the UK amazon.com page and stumbled upon a very cool 2 disk version of Raging Bull with a buttload of extras not available for Region 1. Apparently it has been available for some time now...I had no clue.

Also stumbled onto the the 2 disk Santa Sangre region 2 a week before the CC posted anything on it.

So what I am looking for is...

Is there a website or a page somewhere that lists the different versions of films/extras of dvds per different region.

Like for example...

Region 1=Dead Alive=96 minutes, trailer, letterbox
Region 2=BrainDead=115 minutes, trailer, making of, bloopers, lobby cards, letterbox...

You get my point. Just one comprehensive list of what is the best, most packed, version of dvd out there to purchase...

Anyone...Anyone...

Don't know about a website, but the new FAB Press book, DVD Delirium, Volume 2 is an excellent source to find out the differences between the regional releases. It's obviously not updated all the time, since it's a book, but the research they did on what's already out there is nothing less than exhaustive.

Actually from the site linked above, the difference is only about 3 minutes, as the longest Dead Alive has ever been is 104 minutes.

The German DVD of Deep Rising has a half-hour featurette, trailers and cast interviews...

but the movie itself is edited by about 10 minutes.

They've got cover scans & links to where you can purchase the goods (of course, that's if Evilshop, Diabolik, XPloited, or YesAsia can't help you).

Another good bet is downloading DVD Profiler and using it's title search function to check differences between editions. The upshot is that you also get an archiving program.
