The Last Horror Movie

WTF is THAT shite! (Refering to the UK poster, not the film) do they honestly expect anyone to pick it up with a shitty poster like that?
Also I'd wonder how athentic that poster is as Tartan always put their logo on posters/box covers. Also the film hasn't been rated yet so it shouldn't have an 18 on it and even if it has been rated the 18 on the poster is the wrong shade of color, the new 18 sign looks different.
This is how 18 has looked in the UK for the last 2 years approx!

Well, the fact that the BBFC homepage doesn't list the movie doesn't mean that they didn't rate it. That site doesn't get updated on a daily basis ... The fact that there's not "TARTAN VIDEO" thingie on it, however, is indeed suspicious, as is the old "18" logo. Cool very well be fake or an early design for the poster. Let's hope it's the former but I have it on good authority that Tartan is run by an inbred family of crack-smoking, shit-flinging chimps so who really knows?

Ohh god of gods, Cthulhu. Please destory this miserable movie and all that took part, Amen.

Ugliest poster in a long, long time

Alright listen up guys, this is indeed the UK poster, I was directed to this site by the filmmaker.

But please believe me when I say that it has nothing to do with the movie... for the most part.

In all actuality, those people are not in the movie. If you've seen the trailer you'd understand what I'd mean. Otherwise, I understand your trepidation about it. It's more of an ironic statement than anything.

I will explain it, but I'll have to give some spoilers to do it, so beware

When the movie starts out you see a very glossy looking picture, a voiceover explains that a maniac escaped from a mental institution, and then we see a big breasted waitress getting stalked after hours at the diner she works at. This lasts for all of 2 minutes, and just as the killer pops up to kill her the picture cuts out.

We are now looking at Max Parry, and it soon becomes apparent that he has rented this shitty teen slasher from the video store and taped over it. What he tapes over it of course is his own bloody murder spree. I could go on but it would ruin some of the other plot twists. So basically, the opening (and the poster) are kind of like an ironic bait and hook for the audience.

Anyways, I think this is a great gimmick within the film but again, without knowing anything about the film this UK poster is definitely a stupid idea. It's funny in retrospect if you've seen the movie, but if you haven't you'd have the reaction that all of you just did.

So, you can either read the spoilers to feel better, or just take my word for it.

Yeah, very risky. I'm one that gravitates to movies that look like stinkers. But I'm of the minority.

Exactly, which is why I like the American poster MUCH better. The thing is, no matter what the poster says the clever twist is going to work on anyone that sees it providing they don't already know about it.

Because I had seen the trailer at the Fango Con, I knew the twist before I had seen the movie. I"d love to watch it with someone who doesn't know though.
