I don't mind it as much due to the representation of the title in the design. (re: shadow across his face)

I have a question...why haven't the advertising companies been mentioning King's name with the trailers or posters? Is it because most of his movies blow? Probably due to Dreamcatcher...

It even says on the poster: "From the writer of Panic Room" for some reason, that just really makes me smile, and I'm a huge King fan.

You would think that "From Stephen King" would have a better appeal than "From the writer of a not-so-great movie"

It could be any reason, but one possibility is that the other writer had it in his contract and for whatever reason maybe the studio didn't want to pay King extra to sell the movie as a Stephen King movie. There are huge fees associated with advertising and what you can/can't say.

It's probably not the anti-King/horror card because they could have just as easily linked it with Shawshank and Green Mile.
