Babe Draft '04 - Round Two Discussion - "Crimes of Passion" - Page 3

I was wondering when Graham would go. No longer!
Any chance that we can boot the no-shows and move up the drafting times?
Heather Graham is always a solid pick.
Wow. Depth Chart still intact, minus 2 or 3. Am I in trouble or in luck?

Not like I have any pull, but I second that.
Thirded.
I wouldn't mind. I can't wait to unveal my next pick.

ps---Nice grab, Poxy.

Didn't know I had to play the same way as everyone else. If so I would have taken the ever so boring Ali Larter for myself.
Oh man, I thought I had her! Damn you, Dix!
I still prefer pre-Bootylicious Beyonce. Circa the "Bugaboo" video. Mmmmm mmmmm, bitch.
Didn't Kirby have Maran a year or two ago?
If so, my hats off to him. Her first feature was in 2002, so it's possible.

I just melt when I look at her. Well, mostly. Whuaabahh.
Damn you, Parker! Steal of the draft so far.
More people know about Maran than you think, Parker. She's been plastered all over cosmetics departments and advertisements for the last 5-6 years. She's also gorgeous and a splendid second-round choice.
Again, my hats off to you if you're familiar with her.

You guys know your hotties.
I had hoped Witt would last till third round for once. Yeah, right.
Gravedigger! Goddamn you! Give her back, immediately.
After VAN HELSING lots of people will know her.
That's what I figured, Carl. I thought she was the most striking visual in that crap-tastic trailer they released last month.

John Makarewicz had Maran in the very first draft like 4 or 5 years ago.
Beyonce was my Graham back-up. Surprised she lasted this long.

I thought the chicks had to be in films in order to be eligable. Was she in anything that long ago?

Ok, how is Brooke Burke eligible? I'm assuming it's for "Dodgeball", which is scheduled for release on 06/18/04. I had just looked her up today, as a matter of fact. Does the "eligibility rule" go all the way out to June?
Considering that's a finished film, it should. And if she's not eligible, consider me out of this draft.
And I think I picked her last year too.
I'm also perplexed by this "films in development' eligibility stuff. An official word on the topic would be helpful.

I'm not arguing your pick, I'm just mad at myself for not researching it further. And I don't see anything on IMDB.com for her from last year. And unfortunately, the records from last year were lost in the great message board move of '03.
"The Hazing" is definitely listed as complete, so I think that should be good enough.

I agree. I'd just like to see some official clarification on what the specific criteria is for "tweeners" like Burke. For, you know, future reference and shit.

Last year's draft is still available to read.
What do I search for? I tried "Babe" and 2003 and it didn't find any matches.

And "The Hazing" was completed in 2003, but there's no release date and no box office business number for it. But as I said, shame on me for not being more diligent and to ask Nick if she was permittable.
Motherfucker, I should have looked up Burke. Nice pic Verbs.
I just searched for posts that I made in this forum and found it a few pages in.
Monica Keena? The Freddy Vs. Jason girl?

You're insane. She's got midget-face.
Ok, I found last year's list compiled by Blunt, so if it's incomplete, please send all PMs his way.

Looks like the biggest jump so far this year is:

Ashley Scott, from 8th rounder in 2003 to 2nd rounder this year.

2nd place was Eva Mendes, from 6th rounder in 2003 to first rounder this year.

3rd was a tie b/w Brittany Daniel and Selma Blair, both going from 6th round picks to 2nd round.

And still FIFTEEN first rounders from last year who have yet to be picked. We fanboys are a fickle bunch, aren't we?

Gee, I hope it's not! Doing this fucking kicked my ass, especially as I tried (and still do this year) to update as regularly as possible.

BTW, it's getting fucking hard to do because everytime I try to put a name in bold with the B button, it sends what I typed all the way to the bottom of the post, which forces me to cut and paste. Anyone know how to solve that?
I just type it out. I only use the buttons when I do my pics.
Yeah well, you try typing the bold tags manually a dozen times in a row and see if it doesn't become a burden after the third time

bwa????

1. you're suggestnig that midgets can't be hot. I disagree, and have fucked many a midget in my time.
1a. None as hot as Monica Keena.
2. She's young. The midget face will lengthen.
3. She's got this desperately pouty face. See CRIME + PUNISHMENT IN SUBURBIA for an example.
How did I know you would post 8,435 pictures of Keena?

Just type it once, copy and paste it, then just type between the tags each time you paste.
If it's so easy, then why didn't more of us volunteer to do it, right Blunt?
My understanding of draft rules has always been that the movie in question must be released (theatrically) by the first day of the draft, aka this Wednesday). There have been a few exceptions here and there, but I lost two picks last year to this rule, so that's what I'm playing by. The "in development" thing doesn't exist, as far as I know.

That makes sense, but there have clearly been several high-profile exceptions made. In that case, can I just assume that if "it's close, play it"?
Sorry, fabfunk, your pictures don't convince me. Keena's got midget-face. Horrid looking little creature, she is.

She looks like a Bratz doll.
I never had Maran. She was probably on every Non-eligible list I ever made though. [So take it easy, Parker.] She was going to be my next pick. [So fuck you.}

Brooke Burke --- the only way she can be eligible is by Dodgeball. That other film isn't getting released theatrically. I always thought the rule was "by the summer" so you've got a good argument that she's an acceptable pick.

Damn, I've begun to add more to my list as I'm realizing just how many girls I missed. Damn, damn, DAMN!

We'll see what tommorow holds.
