No word on what is happening in the sequel, but I reported here that Stephen Norrington was scheduled to start shooting soon. Consider it a rumor with no validity.

COMMANDO 2- A sequel has been set up to the Schwarzenegger action picture. Out to writers, the sequel would find John Matrix down and out after losing his daughter in battle, only to be recruited for a lethal overseas mission. No word on Schwarzenegger's involvement.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE- Miranda Richardson has been added to the cast.

STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH- The title has been revealed.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Jim Caviesel, Eion Bailey and Josh Duhamel are this week's contenders for the Superman role, with Caviesel standing out as a Bryan Singer favorite.

THE LEGEND OF ZORRO- Rufus Sewell has been added to the cast as Armand, romantic competition for the attentions of the leading lady, Ms. Zeta-Jones.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 2/3- Geoffrey Rush has signed on for the second and third installments in the pirate series.

ALIENS VS. PREDATOR - The movie has been slapped with a controversial PG-13 rating, while...

THE EXORCIST: BEGINNING-... has got an NC-17.

HAROLD AND KUMAR GO TO AMSTERDAM- Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg are currently writing this sequel.

BOND 21- Pierce Brosnan has announced he will be stepping out of the role of James Bond.

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE 2- Andrew Bryniarski will be the first actor playing Leatherface to return for another installment, looking to be featured in the upcoming prequel with the returning R. Lee Ermey.

SANDLOT 2: SON OF THE BEAST- Greg Germann has joined the cast.

THE MUMMY 3- UNiversal is said to be courting Stephen Sommers to complete this trilogy before starting on FLASH GORDON.

HERBIE: FULLY LOADED- Michael Keaton will star alongside Lindsay Lohan in this sequel/remake.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Jason Behr announced that he has recently tested for the lead role.

ELEKTRA- Apparently Ben Affleck might be cameo-ing as Daredevil in this spinoff afterall.

PUNISHER 2- Star Tom Jane is eager to star in a sequel, claiming that the villain will be Jigsaw and that the film would be lensed overseas.

MORTAL KOMBAT 3- Paul W.S. Anderson might be returning to this franchise for the third installment.

BOND 21- Rumors out of London this weekend proved false: Eric Bana will NOT be starring in THE MAN WITH THE RED TATTOO.

CITY OF MEN- Paulo Morelli will begin shooting this sequel to CITY OF GOD featuring the actors from the original, Douglas Silva and Darlan Cunha, in 2006.

JU-ON 3- Takashi Shimizu intends to finish this Japan-set trilogy after completing work on the English language remake of the original.

OCEAN'S TWELVE- Robbie Coltrane announced his role in the film.

MY BLOODY VALENTINE 2/HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME 2- Producers John Dunning and Andre Link are trying to get sequels made to two early eighties slasher flicks they produced.

STARSKY AND HUTCH 2- Looks like filming will start next year for a Thanksgiving release. Todd Phillips is directing from a script by him and John O'Brien, which will feature the two leads visiting a far off place of some type.

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS 2- Marlon Wayans will not be involved in this.

LEFT BEHIND III- The third film in the apocalyptic Christian movie series is moving forward.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Bryan Singer has given Tom Welling a two week deadline to accept a two-picture SUPERMAN movie deal.

THE PUNISHER 2- Thomas Jane spoke about his desire to do a second film recently. He desires the storyline CIRCLE OF BLOOD from the comics to be the basis for a sequel.

RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD IV: NECROPOLIS/RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD V: RAVE FROM THE GRAVE- Aimee Lynn Chadwick has been cast in the lead for these two zombie sequels, joining Peter Coyote, Cory Hardrict, John Keefe and Jana Kramer.

DEUCE BIGELOW: EUROPEAN GIGOLO- Til Schweiger has been added to the cast of the sex comedy sequel.

BLADE 4- David Goyer recently spoke candidly about this, announcing that he and the studio would have no problem doing this without Wesley Snipes. Michael Jai White and DMX were mentioned as candidates.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Apparently, Tom Welling has turned down the two-movie contract offer, and WB has announced a nationwide casting call for the lead in their big budget franchise revival.

ROCKY VI- Sylvester Stallone might be taking the franchise from MGM to Dreamworks. The studio seems to be pleased with Stallone's own boxing reality program THE CONTENDER and may woo Vin Diesel to star alongside Sly and Sage Stallone as the adversary to Rocky's latest ascendence into the heavyweight ranks.

Yes! I like that Jai White is being thought of since the man has the tude and has the bod to make it happen. His acting on the other hand could use some work. I trust Goyer though. I'm currently cleaning my ears out but did I hear DMX? WTF! How? Why? I mean seriously why?

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 3- This project has been postponed until next summer as Tom Cruise prepares to shoot WAR OF THE WORLDS. JJ Abrams was to direct.

X3- Although no director has been named, Joss Whedon has just thrown his hat into the contender's circle.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Jim Caviezel just announced he'd love to play the lead.

BOND 21- Reports are James Purefoy has been cast as the new James Bond, with Vic Armstrong making his directorial debut with the next film. Grain of salt.

AMERICAN PIE 4- Universal is keen on continuing this teen movie franchise, spinning it off with the little brother of the Stifler character featured in the first three films. In the sequel, little Stiffler attends band camp and sexual hijinks ensue. Eli Marenthal, the actor who played him in AMERICAN PIE 2, will not reprise his role.

KANGAROO JACK: G'DAY, USA- An animated, straight to video sequel to the eye-gougingly teriffic film has been completed, featuring the characters from the first film migrating to Las Vegas on another wacky adventure.

RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD 4: NECROPOLIS- The crews have gained access to Chrenobyl for two days of shooting.

2046- This Wng Kar-Wai semi-sequel to IN THE MOOD FOR LOVE has been shooting for five years now, and continues even after it's showing at Cannes. It's expected to be released overseas this September.

JURASSIC PARK IV- There's a script review up here... http://www.aintitcool.com/display.cgi?id=18166 . The plot this time involves the stolen shaving cream can from the first film, medieval towers and mercenary dinosaurs. Yeah.

BOND 21- Producer Barbara Broccoli has been meeting recently with Julian McMahon for the role of James Bond.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Tom Welling keeps saying he's signed onto a project that he's "sworn to secrecy" about, and has refrained from discussing it. Meanwhile, Conrad Coleby and Brandon Routh are two actors who recently auditioned for the lead role.

FREDDY VS. JASON VS. ASH- Apparently Sam Raimi has okayed use of the Ash character for this superstar horror sequel.

RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE- Paul WS Anderson is interested in returning to this franchise as director for a third film.

STRANGELAND 2- According to Dee Snider, this sequel has received a greenlight.

FREDDY VS. JASON 2- Ronny Yu and Ken Kirzinger will be returning for the Ash-kicking sequel.

PHANTOM OF THE OPERA 2- Robert Englund, who directed the original PHANTOM in 1989, has been interested in finding the funding for a sequel, THE PHANTOM OF MANHATTAN.

HELLBOY 2- Guillermo Del Toro confirmed that Kronen will not be appearing in the sequel, nor will the character of John Myers.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Michael Rosenbaum, who plays Lex Luthor on SMALLVILLE, recently answered a question about the SUPERMAN movie with a cryptic no comment response, saying he "couldn't comment on it.". Meanwhile, although Superman has yet to be cast, Bryan Singer has currently stopped looking for candidates for the role, possibly because of a weak crop.

STAR WARS 7/8/9?- Apparently cast and crew of REVENGE OF THE SITH have all signed NDA's regarding comments on the "last" three STAR WARS movies, which previously, were not happening.

PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN 2/3- Johnny Depp has reccommended comedian Johnny Vegas for a supporting role in the sequels. Depp previously reccommended Keith Richards for the role of his father, who was eventually cast.

ALIENS VS. PREDATOR- The DVD will have an R rated cut, which Paul WS Anderson recently confirmed, stating he was unhappy with the cut that made it into theaters, sans his preferred R rating.

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS 2- Reports are that the sequel will take place 100 years after the first film. Bruce Payne, who played Damodar in the first film, will be the only returning cast member. Contrary to prior reports, Paris Hilton will NOT be involved.

BIG MOMMA'S HOUSE 2- John Whitesell (MALIBU'S MOST WANTED) is directing this sequel, to be written by Don Rhymer. Martin Lawrence is returning in the lead.

CARLITO'S WAY 2- Apparently, a screening of the original film was recently held in order to gauge interest in a potential prequel. Test audiences requested a number of names to appear in the film, including P Diddy, Fat Joe, Alec Baldwin, Jay Hernandez and Luis Guzman.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Recent reports say Tom Welling has NOT been offered the SUPERMAN role, meaning that WB's people are perpetrating lies on purpose in order to continue p.r. on this film. Meanwhile, Emmet Scanlam is the latest actor to report a tryout for the film. Ryan McPartlin, Jim Caviezel, Brandon Routh, Eion Bailey, Nathan Marlow, Josh Hartnett and Jake Gyllenhaal have also recently been spotted on Warners’ lots.

THE RING 2- Production has wrapped a week late on the horror sequel, amidst reports of on the set turmoil. Apparently, producers grew frustrated with director Hideo Nakata's difficulty in handling last-miunte script re-writes, while Naomi Watts left the production early because of strict deadlines and unhappiness with her work.

BATMAN BEGINS- Apparently, a recent call sheet on the set featured a character named 'Kent' to be played by a 'T. Welling'...

UNBREAKABLE 2- M. Night Shaymalan announced that he'd love to do a sequel to this film with Bruce Willis returning.

BOND 21- Matt Damon threw his name into contention for the role of James Bond, saying he'd love to play it. Meanwhile, Quentin Tarantino's CASINO ROYALE idea was shelved by producers.

ALIEN 5- Sigourney Weaver spoke of her desire to approach FOX for an ALIEN 5 that would be a lot quieter and scarier, a la the original film.

KILL BILL VOL. 3- In his "online blog" a man claming to be Tarantino states that he doesn't think this will happen.

LOST BOYS 2- The DVD sales of the original are being monitored for purposes of a potential sequel.

THE UNTOUCHABLES: CAPONE'S RISING- David Levien and Brian Koppelman have been brought aboard to write this prequel for director Antoine Fuqua, who is interested in castign Sean Penn as Capone.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Vin Diesel recently commented on the Lex Luthor rumors, saying he'd be thrilled to get the role, possibly with the chance to alter the title to his personal choice, "Lex Luthor And That Crazy-Ass Superman". PLus, Patrick Stewart has been rumored to be up for the role of Jor-El.

CRITTERS 5/6- Expect back to back sequels from this horror series next year.

UNDERWORLD 2/DOG SOLDIERS 2: FRESH MEAT- Both of these sequels begin lensing next February.

HOLLOW MAN 2- Although no original members of the cast are returning, this film, directed by Claudio Faeh, will be a direct continuation of the first.

SPECIES 3- Brad Turner's DTV film starring Robin Dunne and Natasha Henstridge, will make it's way to DVD in December.

BOND 21- James Purefoy has not been offered the role of James Bond, but rumors say Rikki Lee Travolta, son of John, has.

BOURNE ULTIMATUM- Matt Damon said he would sign on for a third film, with the expectations that director Paul Greengrass would follow suit.

TRUE LIES 2- Tom Arnold recently spoke about this sequel, saying that James Cameron would not direct, but probably have a hand in the making of the film.

ANACONDAS 3- Dwight Little, director of ANACONDAS, reports that Columbia is very excited about a third film in the series.

AMERICAN PIE 4- Apparently the character of Finch, played by Eddie Kay Thomas in the first three films in this series, will appear in this sequel.

LETHAL WEAPON 5- Mel Gibson has been offered $30 million to do another sequel, to be directed by Richard Donner.

STAR WARS XII-IX- Rumors of these films happening are greatly exaggerated, according to Lucasfilm.

LOST BOYS 2- Originally, WB was set to make an independent sequel called LOST GIRLS, but now, with the heat surrounding the DVD release of the original, they're looking at a script called LOST BOYS: DEVIL MAY CRY, a direct continuation of the first film, with the hopes of reuniting the cast of the original.

GODZILLA: FINAL WARS- In the new Godzilla film, Godzilla will fight an unforseen foe- the Tri-Star Godzilla from the 1997 Hollywood film.

THE PASSION OF THE CLERKS- Kevin Smith recently announced this sequel, returning to the stories of Dante and Randall from the ten year old original.

STARGATE SG-1- Apparently, plans are underway for a DTV movie spinoff of the successful sci-fi franchise.

RAINBOW SIX- In this latest Tom Clancy adaptaion, based on the character of John Clark, Clancy will be very hands on as an executive producer.

HALLOWEEN 9: THE REUNION- Apparently the plot of this film would center around David Loomis, son of Sam.

RUSH HOUR 3- Steven Segal has spoke to Jackie Chan about being the villain in the next installment.

BASIC INSTINCT 2: RISK ADDICTION- Apparently, Sharon Stone has her eyes set on Ashton Kutcher for this formerly long-dead sequel.

HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX- Mira Nair has been offered the directorial chair.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 3- Tom Cruise reports that he may now be the only actor still signed on to this project, leaving Carrie Anne-Moss, Ving Rhames, Scarlett Johanssen, Anthony Hopkins and Kenneth Branaugh blowing in the wind.

SKY CAPTAIN AND THE WORLD OF TOMORROW 2- Angelina Jolie spoke recently that she'd be up for a proposed prequel to this film.

TOMB RAIDER 3- And also that she's not interested in a third TOMB RAIDER film.

RUSH HOUR 3- Writer Jeff Nathanson claims that, because of massive back-end deals, it's unlikely this will get made.

LAND OF THE DEAD- Filming will start in October, with Tom Savini as a part of the cast.

HIGHLANDER: THE SOURCE- The fifth film in the series begins rolling later this year for a 2005 release. Unrelated, producers of Madhouse of Japan (TOKYO GODFATHERS) will be completing work on a HIGHLANDER animated film, to be written by David Abrahmawitz, creator of the HIGHLANDER show.

FINAL DESTINATION 3-D- The film is in the early stages of pre-production, according to series star Tony Todd.

THE PROPHECY 4/5- These back to back DTV sequels will hit the market, in theory later this year. They were directed by Joel Soisson and star Doug Bradley, Kari Wurher, Jason Scott Lee and Sean Pertwee.

HELLBOY 2- Guillermo Del Toro spoke about the second film, saying the main new character will be Johan the Ectoplasmic Agent. He also recently cited that he'd love to have a HELLBOY trilogy after all is said and done. Plus, he commented on...

X3- Which he said he probably wouldn't be doing because he, "heard that Joss Whedon was doing it." He also cited the similarities between Hellboy and his fave X-character, Beast. Also, Marjean Holden has been rumored for the part of Storm.

INDIANA JONES IV- Despite having WAR OF THE WORLDS, the film about the Munich Olympics and THE RIVALS on his plate, Steven Spielberg will be doing this film, if John Rhys-Davies is to be believed. He claims he spoke with Senor Spielbergo about the project recently and that everyone involved is dedicated to another installment.

ROCKY VI- Contrary to reports, Dreamworks has NOT purchased the ROCKY property, and if a sixth film is made, it will be at MGM, and dependent on whether the ROCKY boxed set and upcoming video games are hits.

THE MIGHTY DUCKS 4- Joshua Jackson will return to the franchise as Charlie, who is now grown up and is forced to do community service coaching a young hockey team, but not before consulting an old friend (Emilio Estevez).

BOND 21- Ben Kingsley recently announced he'd love to be a villain in this next film.

ALIEN 5- Apparently the success of ALIENS VS. PREDATOR, the most successful film in either series, has done so well as to prompt not AVP 2, as I predicted on these message boards, but, in fact, two new standalone features. The next ALIEN movie is said to be a collaboration between Sigourney Weaver and director Ridley Scott. Meanwhile...

PREDATOR 3- ...is being buoyed by the old "Dutch in snowy NY" premise that floated around Hollywood years ago. However, now FOX is keen on recasting the Dutch character, being that Arnold Schwarzenegger is a bit up there in age and questionably bankable. FOX are particularly high on the premise as it ably sets up...

PREDATOR 4- ... which would feature a female protagonist.

X3- Reports out of everywhere signify that Joss Whedon will indeed be directing the next installment in the mutant saga.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Jim Caviezel will not be playing the role of Superman, as previously rumored, as director Bryan Singer continues seeing young, unknown talent in auditions.

TOY STORY 3- The creative team behind the BUZZ LIGHTYEAR animated show are onboard this Disney sequel, which will be a theatrical release.

HULK 2- MIchael France is hard at work on the script for the second installment. Executive producer Avi Arad will name a director soon.

STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH- A report from the set of STAR WARS III indicates that Gary Oldman has backed out of his voice role as General Grievous due to his refusal to break SAG sanctions and work overseas.

TINKERBELL- Disney will release this spinoff of PETER PAN direct to video in 2005.

DIRTY HARRY RETURNS- Apparently WB's ideas for a remake of this popular cop franchise have shifted to remake-sequel territory, with the idea being to bring back Clint Eastwood to be a mentor to a new Harry, a la SHAFT.

JURASSIC PARK IV- Stan Winston reported that the script for this film is nearly done and he expects to start work on it soon.

STAR WARS EPISODE VII- Moviehole confirmed some red hot rumors as of late, stating that there will indeed be three more STAR WARS chaoters. Some rumors say they will be animated, others not so.

X-FILES 2- Robert Patrick announced that he will be in the sequel-spinoff to the sci-fi franchise. Apparently the studio already has a director and script set, but no announcements have been made as of yet.

LAND OF THE DEAD- Dennis Hopper, Asia Argento and Tom Savini have been confirmed as starring, with a release date set at October 21st, 2005. Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright of SHAUN OF THE DEAD will also cameo as zombies.

VEGA BROTHERS- The latest word on this project is that while Michael Madsen will return to his character, John Travolta will not, necessitating a recasting of the part.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- David Boreanez has recently tested for the lead role.

BASIC INSTINCT 2- Looks like this project is threatening to start up again. Michael Caton-Jones is set up to direct this flick, in the wake of both John McTiernan and David Cronenberg dropping it years ago.

HULK 2- Apparently Michael France is NOT writing the sequel.

BOND 21- Pierce Brosnan recently announced that he is NOT finished with the Bond role and may return after all. In other reports, rumors are that Dougray Scott has been cast in the role.

HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE- Some new casting announcements: Parvati Patil will be played by Shefali Chowdhury. Parvati is Harry's date for the Yule Ball. The part of Padma Patil, Ron's date for the Ball, will be played by Afshan Azad. The younger sister of Fleur Delacour, Gabrielle, has also been cast and will be played by Angelica Mandy.

INDIANA JONES 4- George Lucas has taken over writing duties.

RESIDENT EVIL: AFTERLIFE- After the impressive opening weekend of RESIDENT EVIL: APOCALYPSE, plans are underway for a third and final chapter in this zombie series. Paul WS Anderson, writer of the first two films, has said he wants the third film to serve as a sequel to the games as well.

PUMPKINHEAD III- Stan Winston is onboard to direct this $15 million-budgeted sequel.

CURSED 2- Despite the troubled shoot, plans are underway for a sequel to Wes Craven's upcoming werewolf movie. Herein lies the surprise: the sequel will be utilizing all the footage cut from the first film.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- A recent, cryptic script review noted that the current draft of the script is titled SUPERMAN. It runs 140 pages long, returns to the roots of the character, and features two villains, one of them being Lex Luthor. Also, the character of John Corben will also be featured in the script, although his alter-ego, Metallo, will not.

HOW TO TELL HE'S NOT THE ONE IN 10 DAYS- This adaptation of the sequel to HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN TEN DAYS has just been given a writer, Gren Wells, to script this film. No word on whether it will involve new characters or use those from the first film.

TERMINATOR 4- Apparently C2 is set to start shooting this film next year. Johnathan Mostow will return to direct, and Arnold Schwarzenegger will return in a smaller role. Reports indicate, however, that Nick Stahl and Clare Danes may NOT be back. Other rumors indicate that the new script has actually been penned by James Cameron.

X3- Dan Harris announced that if he were returning to write the third film, he already had Sigourney Weaver onboard to play the White Queen.

TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE prequel- The new film will deal with a new group of young teens held captive by the family of the recent remake. The film will also go into the histories of the family.

BATMAN BEGINS- David Julyan has been kicked off this project as composer, and James Newton Howard and Hans Zimmer have come aboard.

MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 3- Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman, from the ALIAS staff, have come aboard to give the script for this sequel a polish.

QUANTUM LEAP- Reports are that the creative team behind the original show are eager for a new go at it at the Sci-Fi Channel. If that project doesn't go forward, however, expect a big screen spinoff featuring Scott Bakula.

FROM DUSK TILL SHAUN- If SHAUN OF THE DEAD picks up box office heat in America, the sequel will move forward.

CARLITO'S WAY: THE BEGINNING- Jay Hernandez, Luis Guzman and Burt Young have signed on to this prequel, to be written and directed by Michael Bregman.

OCEAN'S TWELVE- Peter Fonda will cameo as the father of Matt Damon's character.

THE ITALIAN JOB 2- Filming is scheduled for March on a sequel. F. Gary Gray is the first choice to return to the franchise. Mark Wahlberg, Charlize Theron, Mos Def, Jason Statham and Seth Green would return. Wayne and Donna Powers are writing again.

TERMINATOR 4- Producers are talking to Arnold Schwarzenegger to cameo. Johnathan Mostow is in negotiations to return to direct.

MUMMY 3- Stephen Sommers is looking to re-launch this franchise over at Universal with a new cast.

GREASE 3- John Travolta announced he wouldn't return to the GREASE franchise, at least not as Danny Zuko.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Bryan Singer recently announced that this project was indeed a sequel, and that he was looking for an unknown, certainly not Jim Caviezel.

ROADHOUSE 2/WAR GAMES 2- These two films will go DTV in 2005.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Bryan Singer and the writing team of Dan Harris and Michael Dougherty continue to search for the right Superman while dropping plot hints. The trio has said that the film will have ties to the original films and will take place directly after SUPERMAN II, and MAY involve the character of General Zod, who supposedly perished at the end of the second film. The budget has been set at a manageable $150 million. Names being thrown around for the lead include Anson Mount, Scott Sawyer, Eion Bailey, Sam Haughen and Carter Oosterhouse, while Dennis Haysbert, Meryl Streep, Kevin Costner and Sigourney Weaver are possibly being sought after for supporting roles.

BOND 21- In the midst of the sale of MGM, production has been postponed on the latest entry in the Bond saga. Directors that were rumored to be in talks were Matthew Vaughn (LAYER CAKE) and Paul McGuigan (GANGSTER NO. 1).

ALIEN VS. PREDATOR 2- Paul WS Anderson recently said that due to AVP becoming the highest grossing film in either franchise, FOX is expected to entertain ideas for a sequel.

MALEVOLENCE 2- Although the original film has yet to find a distributor (Lions Gate deemed it "too violent"), Stevan Mena is eager to do both a prequel and sequel to the film, which is currently playing in small theaters around the country.

BATMAN BEGINS 2- It looks like the Joker will not be used as the main villain in the second film of the series, as producers are keen to revealing him in the third film of this proposed trilogy.

VEGA BROTHERS- John Travolta has announced that he has not been offered anything regarding this role.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Chris Showerman is the latest actor to audition for the lead. Also, David Keith has debunked rumors that he has been cast as Johnathan Kent.

MORTAL KOMBAT: DEVASTATION/MORTAL KOMBAT: WARZONE- Russell Mulcahy will direct these next two installments of the series which start filming in November in China and Australia. Christopher Lambert will be returning.

TERMINATOR 4- A rumor circulating currently has another Terminator robot to be played by Orlando Bloom.

HULK 2- Eric Bana and Jennifer Connelley are in talks to return to this sequel, which could feature the Abomination, the Leader and the grey Hulk.

BATMAN BEGINS- Apparently, there was a new script that featured the character of Harvey Dent, to possibly be played by Guy Pearce. Other rumors indicate that Dent/Two-Face will be the villain in the next film.

BOND 21- Producers are moving ahead with the next Bond film without Pierce Brosnan regardless of his recent comments.

INDIANA JONES IV- Harrison Ford has reportedly been told by Steven Spielberg NOT to exercise for the upcoming film.

FREDDY VS. JASON 2- Jeff Katz, who wrote a twenty page treatment on the sequel, acknowledged that Ash is involved.

WOLVERINE- David Benioff has been signed on to this spinoff movie.

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS 2: THE ELEMENTAL MIGHT- This sequel has finished filming and has been picked up for distribution by Warner Bros home video branch.

GREASE 3- Henry Winkler is among a sad sack of names to replace John Travolta as Danny Zuko in this unnecessary sequel.

SUPERGIRL- Akiva Goldsman is writing this spinoff/remake/sequel with Melissa George in mind for the lead.

ICE AGE 2- Ray Romano will be involved in the sequel, a story about the ice caps melting.

JURASSIC PARK IV- According to those working behind the scenes, the dinos in this film will have feathers.

TERMINATOR 4- Orlando Bloom has turned down the lead in this sequel.

X3- Famke Janssen is uncertain of her return to the series now that director Bryan Singer has left.

This film, which is under SUPERMAN RETURNS as a working title, will begin after Superman has gone missing for a mysterious six year period. John Carpenter does a sequel to Big Trouble in Little China.

We need the return of one of the cinema's original anti-heroes. 20 years later and the Pork Chop Express rolls back into town...

then again, we probably should have left this idea on the cocktail napkin where we had scrawled the cure for cancer and the mathematical proof for faster than light travel...

DADDY DAY CAMP- Jeff Garlin reported recently that this sequel to DADDY DAY CARE will not happen.

X3- Joss Whedon reported that he will not be writing and directing the third X-Men film. Interesting choice of words, Mr. Whedon. Also, whispers have Keanu Reeves being pegged as Gambit in the third insstallment.

THE GRUDGE 2- Sony is excited about the prospects of another installment in this horror series after the first American version scared up $40 mil. this weekend.

RAMBO IV- Sly Stallone recently described the plot as detailing Rambo being found on a ranch somewhere, ready to lead a younger group of mercenaries into battle.

THE PUNISHER 2- Tom Jane says this sequel will be based off issues of THE PUNSIHER WAR ZONE comic and take off immediately from the first film.

BRIDGET JONES: THE EDGE OF REASON- The rumors of a George Clooney cameo are untrue.

BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN- It has been revealed that Brandon Routh has been signed on for three more SUPERMAN movies, including a film pitting the Man of Tomorrow against the Dark Knight Detective.

DAWN OF THE DEAD 2- Universal has been speaking with director Zack Snyder about the followup to the zombie crunching murder fest. Little is known about the stories, but it is certain that they will not follow the formula of the Romero sequels.

INDIANA JONES IV- Jeff Nathanson has just been hired to re-write the script.

TERMINATOR 4- Johnathan Mostow is in talks to direct this, after he finishes CONFESSIONS OF A LITTLE LEAGUE COACH.

GALAXY QUEST 2- Dreamworks has been discussing a sequel to this well-liked comedy hit.

BATMAN BEGINS MORE- Lachey Hulme is being pursued for the role of Joker in the BATMAN movie following BATMAN BEGINS, in which he'll appear in limited capacity following a larger role in the third film. The second film's villain is still said to be Two-Face. While Guy Pearce's rumored appearance in BATMAN BEGINS has been debunked, no one has ruled out an appearance by him in the sequel.

ALIENS VS. PREDATOR 2- Paul WS Anderson has reportedly announced he is not interested in a sequel. However, he has been linked to...

ALIEN 6- Which he may write and/or direct.

PREDATOR 3- A script by Sam Park involving Schwarzenegger's character from the first film has been tossed
around, but nothing is inevitable.

BOND 21- Dominic West is rumored to be the frontrunner for the role, with Hugh Jackman and Julian McMahon waiting in the wings, while Pierce Brosnan has reccommended Colin Farrell. Also, John Cleese will not return for the sequel.

DIE HARD 4.0- Doug Richardson has penned the latest draft of this script. Apparently, it's a modified version of a spec script called WORLDWAR3.COM, which was modeled after the original WAR GAMES. Bruce Willis is the only actor signed, and director John McTiernan is NOT invovled.

AMERICAN PIE: BAND CAMP- Richard Keith and Lauren C.Mayhew have been added to the cast of this DTV flick. Also, Seann William Scott will be making a cameo. AP4 is currently filming in Vancouver.

MUMMY 3- Stephen Sommers will not be directing this movie.

THE MANGLER III- Lions Gate will release this film in 2005, written and directed by Matt Cunningham and Erik Gardner.

SUPERMAN RETURNS- Jude Law has been mentioned for a role. Some say it's for General Zod. Others, however, believe that he may be playing Superman while the previously announced Brandon Routh would only play Clark Kent.

THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW 2- FOX is keen on a sequel, possibly featuring the vice president in the lead.

PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN 2: TREASURES OF THE LOST ABYSS- Salma Hayek has joined the cast.

DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS 3- Joel Silver is interested in a third film after securing a theatrical release for DUNGEONS AND DRAGONS: THE ELEMENTAL MIGHT.

CASINO ROYALE- Pierce Brosnan and Quentin Tarantino have met to discuss this spinoff movie.

RED RABBIT- Due to the cooling of Ben Affleck's career, this Tom Clancy sequel has been put on the backburner as the John Clark series (RAINBOW SIX) is pushed instead.

DAREDEVIL 2- Mark Steven Johnson is keen on doing a sequel, and the studio tenatively wants it, but Ben Affleck is adamant about not returning. Replacement options include Hayden Christiansen.
