BRING IT ON CINCO- Christina Milan and Nikki SooHoo will star for director Billie Woodruff.

PITCH BLACK III- Vin Diesel claims David Twohy has written two more films.

FAST AND FURIOUS- Diesel's also directing a short prequel to this upcoming sequel that will probably be on the DVD and will star Sung Kang and Michelle Rodriguez. Sadly (?), Tyrese will not be returning for this fourth film.

SILVER SURFER- Alex Proyas again reiterated that he won't be involved in his spinoff being that its set up at Fox, a studio he will no longer work with.

UNIVERSAL SOLDIER III: A NEW BEGINNING- Simon Fellows is set as the new director, with Jean Claude Van Damme and Dolph Lundgren circling the project.

MANIAC COP 4- Bill Lustig and Larry Cohen are working on this sequel, having penned a deal to grab the rights back to the franchise.

SHADOW OF THE BAT- Recent rumors that Cher was up for a role as Catwoman have been proven very, very false.

SUPERMAN: THE MAN OF STEEL- WB is going in a new direction with this sequel, citing a "dark tone" and suggesting that director Bryan Singer and star Brandon Routh are out.

HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL III- Dark Castle is prepping this DTV sequel.

TOY STORY 3- Barbie and Ken will be voiced by Jodi Bension and Michael Keaton.

SUPERBAD EXPRESS- Sony has had active discussions about teaming the characters from "Superbad" and "Pineapple Express".

LIFE DURING WARTIME- Despite no longer having that title, Todd Solondz has indeed confirmed that his next film will be a quasi-sequel to "Happiness". Paul Reubens was officially announced as a cast member, but no one is certain if that's changed or not.

THE STRANGERS II- Bryan Bertino has returned to Rogue Films to work on a sequel, which will bring back the titular stalkers, as well as Liv Tyler.

HALLOWEEN II- Rob Zombie is officially out as director, with writers Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo stepping into that chair.

THE DESCENT PART 2- New title.

EDWINA A. SALT- With Angelina Jolie stepping into the title role, producers are keen on exploring a franchise.

IRON MAN II- Despite recent comments, the dragon Fin Fang Foom remains a candidate to pop up in this sequel.

TOKYO JONES: THE LEGEND OF THE DANCING NINJA- This loose sequel to "Beverly Hills Ninja" will be written and directed by the original's writer, Mitch Klebanoff and Sony will release it DTV.

THE NAKED GUN IV- Leslie Nielsen is expected to be back for this Paramount Famous DTV release. Also from Paramount Famous and going DTV...

BOONDOCK SAINTS II: ALL SAINTS' DAY- Troy Duffy has confirmed filming starts this October.

HAPPY FEET II- George Miller never utilized his production offices in Australia for "Justice League" so word has it that they've instead be called on to do preliminary work on this sequel.

GEORGE A. ROMERO'S DIARY OF THE DEAD II- Shooting starts this September in Ontario.

SCOOBY DOO III- Shawn MacDonald, Gary Chalk and Lorena Gale have joined the cast.

DEEP BLUE SEA II- Warner Premiere will launch this DTV title sometime next year.

GHOSTBUSTERS III- Rumors that this would be a Judd Apatow production starring the Apatow players have been proven false. Also, producers of the new videogame have leaked that the reason the original cast isn't reuniting for a new movie is because of some bad blood between players.

OLD SCHOOL DOS- Despite rough negotiations over Will Ferrell's fee, development of this sequel continues.

GREEN LANTERN- With George Miller rumored as a potential director, this franchise-starter is said to also feature several superhero cameos, including Superman.

BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY- The new Jack Ryan film- which is no longer using this title- still has an only tenuous involvement from director Sam Raimi, who reportedly wants to cast James Franco in the lead.

LEPRECHAUN... VIII?- Darren Lynn Bousman recently announced his candidacy for an old-west take on the character.

LETHAL WEAPON 5- Joel Silver and Shane Black are putting their heads together on another sequel that would wrap up the series and send Riggs and Murtaugh off into the sunset.

STREETS OF FIRE II- Albert Pyun is directing this DTV feature, with Michael Pare and the rest of the cast- sans Rick Moranis and Diane Lane- returning.

INDIANA JONES V- George Lucas claims to be "actively researching" this film.

GET HIM TO THE GREEK- Jonah Hill and Russell Brand are re-teaming for this "Forgettign Sarah Marshall" spinoff from director Nick Stoller.

LOST BOYS III- A direct sequel is going to be headlined by Corey Haim, Corey Feldman and Jamison Newlander.

GOONIES II- Unbelievably, this is still in development at WB, not as a DTV title, but as a possible tentpole.

WITHOUT A PADDLE: WHEN NATURE CALLS- Kristopher Turner, Oliver James and Rik Young star for director Ellroy Elkayem.

BEVERLY HILLS COP IV- Michael Brandt and Derek Haas are writing.

DIRTY DANCING III- Patrick Swayze has been approached about doing another sequel, despite his difficult health condition.

SEX AND THE CITY II- Rumors peg the next film as being centered around the character of Samantha, with Miranda coming out as a lesbian.

AUSTIN POWERS IV- Mike Myers has confirmed he's writing this sequel, centered around the relationship between Dr. and Scott Evil.

VENOM- Jacob Aaron Estes is attached to a proposed spinoff film.

XxX 3- Rob Cohen and producer Joe Roth have discussed teaming for another sequel, with Vin Diesel returning, despite his character being killed off in a DVD extra.

MONSTERS' INC. II- Pete Docter has confirmed development on a sequel.

X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE- Several specific clashes between director Gavin Hood and Fox hed Tom Rothman are being selectively leaked to the press.

X-FILES III- Fox is also interested in a DTV third film.

PUNISHER WAR ZONE- Rumors have been batted about that director Lexi Alexander has been fired, with the studio eying a heavy metal score and a possible PG-13 rating.

THE MUMMY 4- Rob Cohen is having internal discussions with producers about setting a fourth film in Peru.

PREDATOR 3- With the "Aliens Vs. Predator" series on the backburner, FOX's Tom Rothman announced that the focus would be placed on a standalone entry. Rumors suggest they are interested in bringing back the character of Dutch.

STAR TREK XI- William Shatner has practically begged JJ Abrams to appear in a future Star Trek installment.

THE NAKED GUN IV- Leslie Nielsen won't be back for this sequel, which will have a whole new ensemble cast.

ROAD TRIP 2: BEER PONG- The plot revolves around the hunt for a Beer Pong model.

BEVERLY HILLS NINJA 2- Lucas Grabeel, David Hasselhoff and Lin Chiling. Unbelievably, this is planned as a theatrical release for Sony.

VAN WILDER III- This DTV sequel will star rapper Nic Nac.

IRON MAN II- Clark Gregg will return as SHIELD agent Phil Coulson. Jon Favreau confirms the Mandarin will show up and that talks are underway to shoot part of the film in IMAX 3D.

GHOST RIDER II- Nicolas Cage confirmed that he's had meetings with FOX regarding a sequel that would take place in Europe.

INSIDE MAN II- Terry George is scripting this sequel, which will reteam the characters played by Denzel Washington and Clive Owen.

DAREDEVIL II- FOX is considering returning to this dormant franchise with a new creative team and approach.

TERMINATOR SALVATION- Arnold Schwarzenegger has confirmed he's offering ADR work to the production and, in all likelihood, will be onscreen in some aspect for this sequel.

TRANSFORMERS: REVENGE OF THE FALLEN- Expect an appearance by Devastator.

xXx: THE RETURN OF XANDER CAGE- Vin Diesel and Rob Cohen are shopping this property to new studios with producer Joe Roth.

SHANGHAI I LOVE YOU/JERUSALEM I LOVE YOU- The "Paris J'Taime" producers are interested in producing anthology films in these two countries.

KUNG FU PANDA: SECRETS OF THE FURIOUS FIVE- This sequel, with Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman providing voices, will be released to DVD on the same day as the original film.

28 MONTHS LATER- Danny Boyle has offered to return to direct a third film.

RAMBO V- Sylvester Stallone's contract with Nu Image is to direct this film in Bulgaria next year and also to write another sequel, executives stipulating that the next two won't be "war movies".

TMNT II- Peter Laird confirmed this is in the works as a live action affair with CGI turtles.

SIN CITY II- Frank Miller claims he and Robert Rodriguez are close to teaming for the next installment.

THE THING 2- Frank Abraham and John Carpenter are teaming for a prequel.

OPEN SEASON 2- A DTV sequel is being released next year.

WATCHMEN II- All the principals have revealed they've been contracted for sequels.

SPIDER-MAN 4- Sony is filming part four and five back to back, with Sam Raimi returning to direct, and Tobey Maguire netting a $50 million paycheck.

THE DARK KNIGHT RETURNS- Frank Miller has announced he'd love to direct this, with Sylvester Stallone as Batman.

NATIONAL TREASURE III- Another sequel with Jon Turtletaub returning will be set in New Orleans.

UNBREAKABLE 2- M Night Shaymaylan is considering rewriting an old script for this sequel.

RED SONJA II- Plans are underway to make this a franchise where the character would confront Conan the Barbarian and Thulsa Doom.

RESOLUTION- Ed Harris is interested in adapting this sequel to "Appaloosa".

HAIRSPRAY II- A July 2010 release is planned, and Queen Latifah has been confirmed to return.

POINT BREAK: INDO- This sequel, taking place in Kuta, Bali, will be directed by Jan de Bont.

GHOSTBUSTERS III- Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky are writing this, with the original cast possibly returning.

THE AMITYVILLE HORROR II- A DTV sequel with a Ghost Hunters premise is planned.

CATS AND DOGS: THE REVENGE OF KITTY GALORE- Jack McBrayer and Chris O'Donnell have just been cast. Brad Peyton is directing.

STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED- Producers of this best-selling game are considering adapting it into a movie, where Darth Vader would train his apprentice, Starkiller.

KUNG-FU PANDA 2- A June 2011 release date has been announced.

300 AGAIN- The story will take place between the Battle of Thermopylae and the Battle of Plataea. Frank Miller is currently writing the graphic novel.

UNDER SIEGE 3- Steven Seagal is trying to re-ignite interest in this by proposing the inclusion of extraterrestrials.

BLADE RUNNER DOWN- Apparently screenwriters Travis Wright and John Glenn have worked with producers on a new script for this project, but it's currently dead.

SPIDER-MAN 4- Kirsten Dunst is returning.

MEN IN BLACK 3- Sony is quietly developing a third installment with the intention of Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones returning.

SUPERMAN: THE MAN OF STEEL- It's been mooted that brandon Routh will return for this reboot.

PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN IV- Johnny Depp has been locked in to play Capt. Jack Sparrow again to the tune of $56 million. Furthermore, Tim Burton is sought for the director's chair, with a "brother" character to Sparrow considered, with Russell Brand and Sacha Baron Cohen as possibilities.

LETHAL WEAPON 5- Columbus Short has confirmed he's in talks to star.

28 MONTHS LATER- Paul Andrew Williams is in talks to direct this sequel.

BULL DURHAM II- Locations are being scouted for a '09 shoot.

THE BREAK-UP 2- An offer is out to Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn to re-team for a sequel.

GET SMART II- Steve Carrell will return for this sequel.

GHOSTBUSTERS III- Bill Murray recently floated the idea of a female Ghostbuster.

DEADPOOL- Marvel and FOX are actively developing this as a spinoff film from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine".

UNBREAKABLE 2- M Night Shaymaylan is dropping this project in interviews, hoping it's close to a greenlight.

JACK BROOKS: MONSTER SLAYER 2- The sequel starts shooting next summer.

Spider-Man 4 - Sam Raimi, Tobey Maguire and Kirsten Dunst will return as David Lindsay-Abaire is brought in to write for the departing James Vanderbilt.

Superman: The Man of Steel - Brandon Routh will return in the reboot. Meanwhile, Mark Millar revealed details of his proposed trilogy with a finale involving Superman as "the last being left on the planet."

The Avengers - Robert Downey Jr. is on board as Iron Man/Tony Stark and Jon Favreau will serve as an executive producer. Contrary to (now months-long) rumors, the Hulk will not be the villain.

The Flash - There is currently "no momentum" on the project according to producer Charles Roven.

Tintin - The number of planned installments have been cut from three films to now two.

XXX: The Return of Xander Cage - Rob Cohen and Vin Diesel will return for a summer 2010 release date.

Bond 3 - Official work on the third installment of the reboot 007 series will start up this January. Although it's not set in stone, the intention is to have Bond continuing his fight against the terrorist organization Quantum.

Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - Rumors of Russell Brand playing Jack Sparrow's brother have re-emerged, and screenwriters Terry Russio and Ted Elliott are currently working on the story. Meanwhile, the release date has been pushed back from May 2011 to Summer 2012.

Robotech - Al Gough and Miles Millar have taken over writing duties for Lawrence Kasdan.

The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader - The third installment has still yet to be given a green-light despite months of casting and set-constructions.

The First Avenger: Captain America - Joe Johnston will direct.

Wonder Woman - McG has been brought up as a potential director. Meanwhile, Beyonce Knowles is openly campaigning for the role - going as far as having meetings with Warner Brothers and DC Comics.

XXX: The Return of Xander Cage - Michael Ferris and John Brancato have been tapped to write after a successful pitch last week.
