AVP - are you looking forward to it?

Just wondering what people thought. Are you guys planning on seeing it? I am. I think it looks like fun. And It's cool to see the Predator back on the big screen.

The trailer wasn't that good though. I don't like it when the trailers are so incoherent. I don't think it's that bad if there is SOME voice over.

I have given up on this being something really special, but I'm looking forward to this being a fun B-movie, in the vein of Predator 2. As long as it has monsters kicking the shit out of each other and something resembling a decent plot, I'll be content.

As far as the trailer is concerned, it's a teaser. It's not supposed to make sense, just show some pretty pictures of monsters and let people know that the movie's on its way.

No I meant the trailer. There was a teaser, and then there was a trailer released a few days ago. I agree with you though, I'm just looking for something fun out of AVP. I'm not expecting anything epic or heartwrenching. Just a fun monster movie.

AVP

I'm looking forward to this movie a lot! I won't say that it will be a great movie, but it will be a good popcorn movie. For me, AVP is like Freddy vs. Jason was to my best friend. Of course, I'm not really a big fan of Freddy or Jason, so FVJ didn't really do much for me, but I've been a fan of the Alien and Predator movies since I was a kid, so this'll be a movie I'll see opening day.

I'm looking forward to it a lot. It may be the most anticipated summer movie on my must see list.

I'm even going to make some Predator and Alien rod puppets.

It's an unwatchable piece of shit, but I commend you for finding something entertaining in it. The lamps are great. Fuck, I LOVE Robocop 2. Fucking love it.
