Son of Chewervision 2D - Page 74

Oh and nooj, if you could be bothered and any of those pics of me inspired you by the way...
Hey nooj,
Me and Bob Backlund need your skills if you would be so kind.

I'm on the right, Bob is in the middle, of course, and don't worry about the other bozo, he's just my buddy.
I'm gonna go postal. What hath I wrought?! Hahahaha.

Hope people don't mind that I'm gonna be taking it a little slower. But otherwise, I'll deliver.
Mate you've been pumping them out faster than a Korean Simpsons animator so I don't blame ya.

Somehow I don't think anyone here will begrudge you taking as long as you need to.
Bob Backlund!! Oh man...the memories of my friends and I almost sending each other to the hospital with crossface chicken wings...
Take your time, dude, your efforts are much appreciated and worth the wait.

I think the possibilities for setting up conflict between Spike and the B-Action gang are delicious. The fact he's built as you say he is will promise some spectacular fight scenes.

I envision an episode where we actually break his shell and he reveals that we're not so bad after all. Maybe the Xmas episode. Kind of like that He-Man special where the kids tell Skeletor he's wonderful and he smiles. And he actually takes a bullet for them from Hordak.

I've always liked that one.

Nice tan Judas.

How old is that picture? I swear I've seen it before on a wrestling site years ago when I was big into it.

That picture was at least 9 or 10 years ago. My one and only brush with Bob but boy was it a doozy.

Must be the Korean work ethic.

B Metal, would it be wrong to ask Joon to draw you with your Fred Durst hat?

I just wanna point out that my nooj, which looks glorious by the way, is located on a file that is named "dicksoncopy"...

I'm torn between grateful and offended.

Honestly. Who brought this guy?
Hey mcnooj, you're cool with us using these as avatars and on Facebook and such, right?
Charge them.

I'll post that pic tonight, after work that pic is perfect avatar material.
Thanks for the compliments, all. Yeah, we are rather young, but NOT 16. I'm 24 and she's 22. We've dated off and on since she was 16 though.

She looks pretty young in the picture but...yeah, she looks pretty young all the time.

25 years old and I'm now an older brother. Craziness. He's an adorable little fucker though.
Alright, I'll get in line for the awesome Nooj treatment.

Here's me 2 years ago, drunk, at my wedding party.

Some pics of last night. Bday dinner with some friends.
Party will be on Saturday!

This is after they poured 2 liters of beer on me.. fuckers.
Where are the women, Tati? You're letting us down, you know.
Tati, how many pictures of yourself would you say you take in an average week?

You don't know Ash? They're one of Co. Down's finest exports! "Girl From Mars?" "Burn, Baby, Burn?"
Only weekends or events. And i don't take pictures of myself, i just post the ones i'm in! It was my Bday, of course they were going to photograph me!
Sorry, Bear: all my love for Ireland has thus far been concentrated on Brendan Gleeson. Will check out those songs, though.

That's just a small gathering with some friends! Women will be on Saturday.
But here are a few that dropped by last night

The Gaucha on the right is someone I wouldn't mind getting to know. Does she have a pleasant speaking voice?

I'd say she's worth a six hour bus ride, but not 12.
It only took six years and eight different projects working as a camera op/D.o.P./Director, but someone finally caught me doing a Spielberg:

Now I just need a photo of me doing a O. Russell, or a Cameron.

And what a place to start!

Cool. 1977 is the one to try first. It's a great album, especially considering how young they were when they made it. And it's perfect timing with the arrival of the Deluxe Edition (with the fantastic "Jack Names the Planes", the only essential track from Trailer on it.) If you like that, Free All Angels should go down well too.

Wouldn't an O. Russell consist of you screaming at somebody?

Hey Greg, is that the XH series?
Aye, it's the XH-A1, and although I'm usually a whore for Panasonic, I might have fallen a little bit in love with this one. Mainly due to the lens and aspect ratio variables, but then, Canon's always had great lenses.

Yup. Just for comparison's sake.
mcnooj, you are now one of my most favorite people ever. Thanks for the avatar.

I'm using an XH A1 at the moment for live work, it's my second HD unit (after my Z1) and aside from some cheap build quality (that VCR flap on top is a wonderful example) it's not a bad camera at all - especially at the entry-level price.

It's not very fond of low-light though is it?
I haven't shot too much low light stuff with it, but yeah, it kept trying to tell me to turn the gain on. Also not a big fan of its button layout--takes too long too do a quick white balance. I do love the 3-ring lens, though. Being able to jog the zoom, focus, AND the f-stop at the same really got my juices flowin'.
Won't detract from the nooj in case it enrages him. PM.

By the way this was obviously meant in fun. Sincerest apologies if it was taken the wrong way.

You have been working rather hard on these for us lately nooj. It's really appreciated.
Hahahah. Seriously, don't worry about offending me. I got thick skin. I would've responded to your post with "It's our lot in life..." if I could've found an image of that Simpsons episode with Koreans working at gunpoint.
Not to derail, but I listened to the commentary of the episode that showed that. The Korean animators were pissed because it's a pretty sweet gig.
Since we're on the topic..

'Everybody work! Everybody work!'

'He big mean man whip us! We are slaaaves!'

...sorry joon...
*Golf Clap*

Yes, the Korean work ethic is unmatched. Unless you count the jewish worth ethic .
3,000 years of beautiful tradition from Moses to Sandy Koufax, you’re goddamn right that's a good work ethic...
Hey, we didn't become the head of the worldwide banking-media conspiracy by just sitting on our asses.
Well quite, you had Protocals to live up to afterall...
Of course, who knows what Mel Gibson would have fixated on if it weren't for us?
Ummm...

Damn yankees?

I rest my case. And now back to the thread.
I'm kind of a prude, so this is about as far as I could take Anderson's request. For some reason, it became a little more ambitious than I thought it would be.
Oh man, thats great! You realize that now, instead of everyone popping in to ask for a quick sketch, they'll now want some elaborate fantasy art piece right?

And for the record, mine has to have Kurt Russell in it somewhere.
