^ I almost jumped the gun on it the other night... but a moment of clarity made me shut the steelbook and wait till Christmas.

This was from about 2 years ago on Christmas night... I have only just seen this, but if you look very closely in the very bottom righthand corner of the frame, you can see one of my presents... a Neca Army Of Darkness Ash figure!

She's is certainly something... still going strong at 89! Though her mind is getting a wee bit sketchy.

Upon hearing that Patrick Swayze had passed away her comment was this:

"ohhh dear, it's such a shame isn't it? I did so much like his act in that "With Wolves" film, too"

Awwww! But hey, at 89, you should be glad she even remembered that Swayze was IN movies! Many 89 year olds would lament how sad it is that their mailman died.

Haha, wasn't gonna say this but now I cannot resist, mcnooj I'd love to see what image you come up with when I tell you that the next part of that particular days' conversation went onto food where my sweet Grandma helpfully informed me that people only eat Skate wings because, apparently, the body is actually made of 'lady parts' and is therefore inedible.

I really like the grandma pic too Brundle, not only because she looks so nice and grandma-y, but the way your ludacristmassy visage is the only part of the shot which seems to be in focus.

Just a gorgeous photo. If our rag-tag band ever puts out an album, I can't think of a better - more us - cover than that. The fact that I, too, have that Ash figure is a cool bonus.

Cheers, Brun! In hindsight, it'd probably be better used as the cover to an in-progress Christmas single (working title: "Give Us A Smile, Huffy Bake (It's Christmas!)" but I do kinda love the idea of it being a full album cover.

I'm keeping my beard, right now my beard is at reject from the band Mastodon levels, hopefully I'll hit full on hobo levels of beardness next year.

A friend of mine is into photography, so at a recent holiday get-together/housewarming/friend-from-Australia party, he brought his fancy camera and flashes to take portraits of us. Here is one of my many faces. Obviously, the photo's colors and sharpness have been touched up. But I also went and made my own adjustments... hohohoh. I have a Big Head worthy of Elaine Benes.

Well, last time I put up a pic it was in 2007 or so, so for all ZERO of you curious enough, here's my mug:



#1 - This is me at my goddaughter's 1st birthday, around May or so of 2009.



#2 - Getting briefed by my good friend Barry this past summer.



#3 - Walkin' around downtown Manhattan, again this past summer, during a two-week course at NYFA. (P.S. I really like this shot, for some reason.)



#4 - And finally, me, last night, a few minutes past midnight. Never let that MySpace pose die, people!

And yes, I'm really 25 years old. Well, I was 24 in the first three pics, but still.

No sarcasm. It's practically vintage. You just don't see the blatant, over the head camera poses anymore. People try to be much more cool about taking pics of themselves nowadays, posing in front of mirrors and whatnot.

I like it.
