My day: Now I can watch movies when driving; and, seeing Chewers from out-of-state:

Okay, I won't really WATCH a movie when driving, but I can listen to commentary tracks during my long commuting to/from work/girlfriend. Picked up a portable DVD player today. Went sleek, light and small so that it can be carried literally anywhere. Will start those Two Towers commentary tracks today.

And I had coffee this morning with a Chewer whom I had met in Los Angeles during Will's Brazilian Barbecue trip -- Tanya. It was nice to catch up with her. Some nice folks around these parts, aren't there?

And, this seems to be my see Chewers week -- grendel is quite possibly going to be camping out on my floor in the next few days on his way back through Colorado in a rental van. I'm looking forward to that particular convergence as well.

Yes, we do. It's been too long, 'hawk. When I got home late last night, Tanya had left a message on my machine -- leaving town today, but hoping we could grab a cup of coffee this morning.

re: grendel -- his arrival date/time is uncertain. It was GOING to be Tuesday night, but logistical complications on his trip have changed the plans. He's going to let me know when he's coming through town. I'll let you know ... perhaps we can all get together at that time for some good gathering.

Hey, glad something came of the CHUDWEST BBQ besides massive hangovers and Nick ODing on Sobe Green Tea.

As to Grendel saying over, make sure you steal his baby powder. I did.

BTW, Did I mention we have a new type of prototype grill to add to the others we already have around Casa Will? Enviromentally sensitive, I think you would approve. Check it out below. What'd ya think? Think it has a future? I am considering investing in it.

I think it would help if you can Grendel to understand that a trip from Boise to Denver need not go through Anchorage.
