Yeah, they've been hinting at "Christmas 2004" for a while now.

But this Winter 2004 date scares me. I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't see it until February or March of next year.

Will anyone even care about it by then? I probably won't even remember about it. Seems to me they are spending way too much time trying to make the "perfect" game, and that just can't be done. Make a good game, get it out before Christmas, and then begin work in Halo III for the Xbox 2. I'm just thinking they're going to turn a lot of people away from the game since they are taking so long.

I read somewhere that they were working on "working it out". I don't know exactly what that means, but I got the impression that the next generation of EA sports games would be online with XBL.

And I would think they would have to since the XSN stuff is gone for the time being. Microsoft would be stupid to let sony have the EA games all to their selves. MS is going to lose a lot of money if they don't get it straightened out.
