Driv3r!!!

Is anyone checking out the site for this game all the time like I am? I was moderately excited for this game before, but after watching all the stuff that they are putting up on the site, I am way more than moderately excited. Is anyone else counting down to release?
I am not counting down per se. I am waiting to see if it is good and how it plays. And how much it does the slowdown that plagued Stuntman (which I liked a lot).

I'm a lot less excited for this than I should be, considering I played the absolute shit out of the first game.

I just think that they have put a lot of time and effort into this game, which will pay off. All the pre-release reviews and everything I've read has looked pretty good. Plus, I really liked the first one and can't wait for this one.

Holy moly! They just put up the final episode of Run the Gauntlet today on the site. It's awesome. Anyone even remotely interested in this game should check the full film out. It's amazing that they did so much, so well.

This is starting to look like a must-have title...

Weird to think we're getting this so close to the next GTA game. I'm gonna have a lot of driving to do with my controller this year.

Did they pull the plug on the GC version? If so: FUCK.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that there will be no game on Gamecube. It just wouldn't have looked right. The GC wouldn't have been able to handle the graphics. Doesn't bother me none.

Are you high? Really, I don't mean to troll if this comes off like it, but what makes you think the Gamecube is less graphically capable than the PS2?
I think the actual point behind the GC move was less graphical and more....topical. Alls pointing to this sucker being M for Mature. Which GC is handling less of these days. That's MY thoughts. But of course, the killing the GC title was annouced back in Sept or Nov. of 2003.

Also: Did anyone see the annoucement for GTA: Haiti on April fools day? Best. Ever.

That's more of what i was talking about. I didn't mean graphically, but that's what I said. My mistake. Sorry to anger those GC players out there. And yes, I did see the GTA Haiti, and I fell for it hook line and sinker. Was there any April Fool's stuff for DRIV3R?
That really sucks, considering it was first announced as GC title way back last year or whenever this game surfaced.

The reason M games usually do badly on the GC, in my opinion, is that if they come out they're six months behind the other versions, shitty ports, or both. Yeah, Cube owners are really going to fork out for that crap. Kind of bad example: Soul Calibur II outsold the other two console versions. Why? Didn't suck, released day and date with the others, had Link, so GC owners bought it. Pretty crazy, though, that it outsold the version for the PS2, a console with a much larger install base.

Eternal Darkness didn't do so well, but the RE games seem to do okay. I mean, they keep makin' them. The RE 1 remake kind of stole some of ED's thunder, in my opinion. Haven't seen anything on sales of Metal Gear, though.

That's enough inane rambling for now, I think.

So, who all's gonna end up buying the game? This guy! I just wonder out of all the people that'll talk about the game, how many will end up buying it. Hope a lot do.
