I've kinda been on a Conan binge as of late, reading the stories, the comics, and re-watching the movies. I think its really too bad that this movie isn't recognized as much as it should be. For me, its not just another "Ahnuld movie". I think its beyond that. It's a beautiful film. I was doing a lot of thinking lately (that's a first), and I decided that my all-time favorite scene is where Conan finds his sword in that old tomb. Its awesome on so many levels. The music that feels like it came from prehistory. The skeletons. The Ron Cobb architecture of the tomb. The lighting. I love it.

AMEN. And there's quite a few to choose from in his illustrious career. I still can't believe he didn't get killed in Gladiator.

I just love the look on Sven's face after he hits the column with his hammer, a piece of rock falls on his partner knocking him out , he looks at his hammer and then at the camera, it's hysterical.

Another reason to love Conan the Barbarian: Conan has sex about 45 times in the course of the film.
