The Arnie classic no one talks about; who can forgot the scene in which he picks up two railguns and blows the shit out of everything? Awesome.

I remember the first time I saw the teaser trailer with the Juno Reactor song " Samurai " playing I thought it looked awesome. Arnold returning to form. Then when it was released I went and saw it and came away dissapointed. The film has its moments but Caan was a weak villain and Williams was about as solid as playdoh in the end. Arnold did what he could with it but that wasn't enough in the end.

I love the ridiculously hungry and violent alligators. They must never feed those things as eager as they were to rip those guys' arms off.

I like that bit when Arnie & James Caan see each other in the hall and without hesitation just unload their guns point blank at each other. I think Ah-nuldt fires even though Caan is holding Vanessa Williams as a human shield! Anyway, the scene seems to say something about their characters without using any words.

I also like the extreme ease with which the Oak terminates the head of security after all of his "Wetwork? Only on 3 continents" bluster.

I'd call this movie fairly good crap, if that makes sense. The scene with the airplane was pretty cool, if alittle far-fetched. And "You're luggage" is a great fuckin' pun, I don't care what anyone says...

Seeing Transformers 2 lately, and the inclusion of "a rail gun" made me remember this movie, and what it was like to see fun bad movies. Maybe it's just Arnold's delivery of the "it's not what's on the cards, it's what's in heeeyah" (paraphrasing) line that makes it truly enjoyable.

Whither, action movies like Eraser?

It's not a fun bad movie. It's a fun movie.

And better than TRUE LIES.

I know he has had a few clunkers, but Chuck Russell should be utilized more.
