Resident Evil 4 Trailer

this game is gonna lots of fun.
I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

Holy shit that looked awesome.

wow. that trailer came out of nowhere and blew me away. when i first started reading stuff about this game and heard that they were veering away from your standard 'zombie'.. i started to piss all over where this franchise was headed.. but if this is what they're putting out.. then im quite fine with that.. the huge monster thing in the lake is cooler than a thousand rotting corpses... i cannot wait to play that scene in the game.. getting knocked out and having to swim back to your boat before it gets you.. hot damn.. thats what i want to see in a Jurassic Park movie. .a nice mesosaur or something.. anyway off track there..

theres a TON of nice features their throwing in here that i think is taking this series in all the right directions.. the villagers setting up ladders to get to you.. nice AI.. even nicer that you can just kick the ladder over... the scene with the player firing a shotgun at people through a door..and the door actually being shot THROUGH.. producing a nice post-shotgun hole to continue firing through. .as far as i know that has never been done in a survival horror..and could add alot of cool new possibilites.. more interesting features include : the villagers actually throwing molotov cocktails and axes (which you see the player shooting out of the freaken air!)... a villager quickly dropping his stance and dodging a shot at him... and the player jumping over a small railing instead of wasting 4 minutes walking around like the other entries in the series..

theres a dozen more things i wanted to add but i need to watch that trailer a few more times to remember it all... anyway.. if the story can in any way match all the awesome new gameplay elements.. than this is gonna be one badass game

looks like Silent Hill 4 has more competition than i imagined...

See, when I saw the HL2 footage I was blown away by the physics involved, and swore that the game was god. Now, after all these delays, games like this have really caught up to what impressed me so much before, and I don't feel the need for HL2 as much as before.

This looks pretty cool. I hope the game milks the "what's wrong with these people?" factor that I felt. Just, please, god, we need some better voice acting.
