It's a fun time, folks...even if it's a couple hours away.
Think of it another way. How many chances do you get in a given year to sit around and watch a days worth of movies and be accepted for doing it? Worse yet...encouraged?

Oh, by the way...

Much thanks to the Powers that Be for shoving this in the REGIONAL Ghetto. Of course, why would we want to encourage people from outside a given region to go to an event? Why would we want to expose people to new and different things?
Shouldn't we all just stay in our little corner of the world and not pay attention to the rest of the world?
It's not like we don't already get people from the East Coast (Boston, NYC, DC), Canada (Toronto and Montreal), England (yes, we've had marathoners from England) and even Harry Knowles' home of Austin, Texas (though they SWORE they weren't affiliated with AICN) at the marathons. No. They throw this one just for people in Columbus. Yup. That's right. Not for the population in general.

Moving an announcement like this to the regional forums is utter and total horseshit. Thanks a lot, guys.
