Impressive, to say the least. It'll be interesting to see how it turns out being as it's licensed. Anyway, isn't Tigon Games Diesel's own financed game company?

All the print previews I've seen for this are raves. That trailer helps me to understand why.

And no, this game is not being developed by Diesel's company. I forget their name at the moment.

I'm pretty excited about this one, though more for some of the previews/interviews i've read than that sort of just "OK" trailer.

I was surprised at the trailer. This actually looks like it could be pretty good, shitty FPS notwithstanding (I really hope they work on that.) Vin Diesel has a great game voice, and the cinematic touch to the cutscenes is nice. Would've been nice to see a glimpse of the special-vision mode (which I'm just pulling out of my ass and may not even exist, but based off of what I heard in the trailer and what I gleaned from Pitch Black should exist).

It DOES exist, and I'm pretty sure they did provide a (brief) glimpse right around the time the trailer starts talking about how hiding in the dark can save/protect you.

I won't buy this unless theres a code to give Diesel an afro.

How about any hair at all?

Tigon is acting as a producer, and Starbreeze is doing the core development.

What Bruce sed, this is a revamped version of the old Enclave engine. So far so good. Lets hope it stays that way.

There's a demo on OXM's latest disc in case you're interested. It's from an early version of the game though, as the AI isn't terribly bright and the graphics are kind of jagged and blurry in some areas. Other than that, cool if a bit linear. Sneaking up on enemies and snapping their necks is a plus, and the melee combat system reminds me of Breakdown.

I thought the demo rocked, as did the Psi Ops demo on the same OXM disk. I think, barring unexpectedly bad reviews, that I'll be getting both of these.

The demo was pretty good, but it's not very polished. The potential is there, but the graphics, AI, and control all seem just a bit short of the mark. With a good spit shine before release, Riddick could be an impressive game.
