Such a great movie. I love it when James Caan beats the crap out of the wifebeater.

Also, Al Pacino looks nothing like Al Pacino in this.

"Now you listen to me, you smooth talking son-of-a-bitch. Let me lay it on the line for you and your boss, whoever he is. Johnny Fontane willl never get that movie. I don't care how many dago guinea wop greaseball goombahs come out of the woodwork."

"Wow, you're tall are you from, like... Norland, or..."
"Actually, I'm Irish German."
"Irish-Germa... Like Robert Duvall in The Godfather. Bratwurst and schaleighs, paging Dr. Freud!"

The most famous line of the past 50 years? I think so.

Its a classic. Its amazing to watch Pacino in this. Comparing this performance to all of his others is interesting because he seems so low key in this.

Low-Key Al Pacino>Hyper Al Pacino-'Scarface'

I think Al's menace in this movie is due to the fact that he plays Micheal in such a quiet manner.

Sonny isn't at all menacing in the movie (except to Carlo )

Caan wears the same expression as seen in Eraser and when he came out of that Rollerball remake premiere.
