Trevor Ariza, the freshman from UCLA's sub .500 basketball team (and at best the 3rd or 4th best player on the team - and I'm probably being way too nice here) has decided to enter the draft - and hire an agent! - no turning back.
I wonder who told him to do it. A caller to one of the local sports radio shows claims the players hate Howland. They don't like his tough practices. If that were the case I'd think Ariza would have just transferred.
This is sad. I remember seeing him early in the season and saying he had Potential but he's not even close to NBA material now. Unless he works his ass off in Europe or the developmental league he's probably a disaster waiting to happen.
