I know probably not many people care about Arena Football, but I've just go to vent after the sorry-ass showing by the Georgia Force this past weekend. They scored all of SEVEN points in the game. SEVEN FREAKIN' POINTS in an Arena Football game. Geez, I can play Madden in 1 minute quarters and score more than 7 points. Their QB (Leon Murray, from Ga. Tech) is awful, and no one associated with the team seems to be able to recognize that. The only real success they had last year was with James Brown (from Texas), and after he had 2-3 good games, he went to NFL Europe. Apparently he's back, but was inactive for the game this past weekend. They need to get rid of Murray, because he just plain sucks. And apparently, at the beginning of last season, the coach even said that Murray sucked, and challenged him to prove him wrong. That got Murray through about 2 games, then he sucked again. And then got hurt, which let Brown get a shot, but then he left as well. It's just frustrating as, they've got a decent defense (compared to the rest of the league), but they can't score any points consistently. They've lost 5 games in a row now. And I still don't know why they didn't sign Joe Hamilton before the Predators did (that's who Ga. lost to this weekend). Apparently there were more Predator and Hamilton fans in the crowd than Force fans.
