...I was just wondering if anyone here has ordered the I Drink Your Blood dvd from Fangoria...i guess i'm curious about the disc/flick itself and the service from Fangoria in regards to this...

...any responses would be greatly appreciated

I got the previous Limited Edition that was signed by the cast that another company (I forgot who) put out last summer.

The Fangoria disc is the exact same release, so I'm not going to pick it up.

Fromwhat i hear, some people have ordered it, and have not even heard from Fango regarding their order.


Oh, and the movie is GREAT!!!

...dude, i don't know if this is bad ettiquette or not, but could you drop some highlights about the film and disc features...not sure if this falls into 'spoiler' territory, just curious...

Ordered it back when it was first offered....Got confirmation from Fango and I believe early last week they took the money out of my account for it. I have yet to get it. I'll probably email them soon, because even if they sent it by regular mail, it should not take this long.

Grindhouse put out that release.

It's presented full frame, and the open matte doesn't look bad at all. The sound is excellent.

Extras include: (and this is for the previous Grindhouse release )

A commentary with Director David Durston and star Bhaskar.
Durston is a great to listen to and remembers just about everything, so you'll get a lot of cool information.

Four deleted scenes - you can watch them as part of the film's"director's cut" or watch them separately.

Alternate ending

Out takes

A 30 minute documentary called The I DRINK YOUR BLOOD Show where the director interviews many of the cast. There's some funny and awkward moments in it.

I ordered it as well. My check cleared the bank last week. They e-mailed me asking for an address other than a P.O. box because they ship UPS. I still have not recieved the movie. I did e-mail them and ask if it had been sent. Their answer was that it could take 4 - 6 weeks to get the movie. I don't know what they're doing because it doesn't take that long when using UPS. I also asked them for a tracking number and they said they didn't have one. UPS using tracking numbers on all of their shipments.

Right now I just hope I didn't get screwed.

When someone gets theirs from Fangoria please let us know.

I'm pretty sure I'll get the movie, I really don't think Fangoria would just rip off the fans. They have way to much to loose. I just don't like being lied to about UPS and their tracking numbers. I really don't understand why they would say something that isn't true.

I suggest you go to their website and e-mail costumer service. That's what I did. I think the more people to write the better it will be for us.

Maybe I'll forward all of my spam to them until I get my movie.

That why I went there. To see if anyone had gotten one.

I just e-mailed them again a little while ago. I work nights tonight but I'll let everyone know what they have to say as soon as I can. Who knows when I'll here from them. I hope tomorror.

I called costumer service today and just heard back from them. They said that they had a flood of orders for the DVD and didn't have enough on hand to cover all of the orders. They said that my order would go out this week and for me to call back in a week if I haven't heard anything from them. I placed my order on 4-14-04.

I can understand not having enough product to cover all of the orders. I do think that e-mails should have gone out and that there should have been something said about it on their web page. I suggested this to them and they agreed that someone should have let us know something. She said that she would talk to management about letting us know something on their web page if this ever happens again.

Either way I will let you all know what happens next week.
