I'm so exicited! I just can't hide it!

I'm thinking the feature on the Lost Boys sequel has to do with the Jeffry Boam script that was written back in the 80's. which you can find on the internet. its probably talk about how they were gonna do it and why it never happened. probably also info on how over the years the talk came up.

Or it could be stuff about The Lost Girls, the "sequel" that almost happened a few years back.

It's really quite funny how sweating fanboy-level excited I am about this release, it's been a long time coming.

it'll probably about that and the 80's stuff. they better talk about the 80's sequel that never happened. my only fear is that this release does really good and WB ends up wanting to do a sequel. Schumachers idea about the Lost Girls is horrid.

Didn't Robert Masciontonio who wrote Cold Hearts have a meeting with Schumacher long ago? I remember it spread like wildfire and he was going to write Lost Boys 2 The Coldest of Hearts. Then that dissapeared and its when the Lost Girls talk started.

"Haimster & Feldog: The Story of Two Coreys" featurette
That's the scariest thing on this disc!

Haimster? Feldog? I'm sorry, but that's too fucking gay.

Are they going to touch upon Feldman's period when he thought he was Michael jackson?

Or Haim's stunning career move: Prayer of the Roller Boys?

Or when Meredith Salinger accidentally took a shit in the Corey's mouths and it was full of corn?

Corey Powers: ACTIVATE!!!

Here are some words that rhyme with Corey: Story. Allegory. Montessory.

have only seen the film once and this may be the next time!
They should have given the Saxophone guy his own extra.

""I will still believe!!!" - the trials and tribulations of the built lookin' Michael Bolton saxophone guy in The Lost Boys."

My favorite post today.

The camera sure loved that guy.

We all did.

I'm glad you guys are excited for it, but I'll still never get the love for this film. Is it just pure nostalgia of seeing it at that certain place in time (the 80s)? Is it kitsch value at having two of the Coreys show up? Is it Kiefer Sutherland's platinum blonde mullet? Is it the homosexual underpinnings? It's beyond me, honestly.

Having already seen the superlative NEAR DARK previously that year, this film didn't thrill me one bit.

I think it's how self-aware the film is. And it came out before Scream made that style of film popular.

I thought it was neutered, glossy shit then and I think it's neutered , glossy shit now.
However, if this DVD contains a music video by the Sax Guy I'll be buying two copies. One to watch on continual loop, the other to shove down my leather pants as I emulate his vampire repelling crotch thrusts.

I'm 26 and I grew up with this flick in the 80s and I have to say it is awesome to see there are peeps out there who have the same sense of humor to make fun of that Oiled up muscle bound sax player from the flick. My friends and I have always made fun of that guy, him and the jimbo Glover dance from Friday the 13th part 4!!!
Glover's got nothing on the Sax Guy. He was a dead fuck.
this is getting released in the UK on 6th September.

I love this flick, and this was the best news I've heard so far today. Don't mind the double dipping if there's a lot of good extras on this.

isn't one of the Corey's a burned out junkie, i dont think he's usable

I think both of them are burned-out junkies. But you're probably thinking of Corey Feldman. That poor sap snorted himself retarded.

Feldman is in a band and he was doing a show in my area a year or so ago. On a radio interview, he was saying how he was hoping to be in Freddy vs. Jason and he seemed astounded that no one had called him yet. He was taking himself so seriously that I couldn't believe it.

I too, grew up with this movie and I have to say it's fuckin great to see Im not the only one who sees The Lost Boys as the gayest film to come out of the eighties besides Top Gun.

The film is one long homoerotic wet dream on the behalf of Joel Schummaker IMO.

And yes Near Dark owns its fuckin arse 7 days a week and twice on Sundays.

I'm suddenly in the mood to read some sweaty beefed up saxaphone-playing oily buff guy fan fiction. He needs his own trilogy.
