Makeup artists: Help me

I remember when Hart Fisher got married he was dressed/made up as the dude from The Cell. Well, for Halloween I'm thinking of doing Hellboy. I know absolutely nothing about makeup and am wondering, is there a makeup/paint you can use to paint your body that won't rub off on everything you touch?

I think applying powder to the finished paint helps keep it on

not sure

I do know there are some costume shops that will do body paint for you. (The one near me does it, but I've never bothered to do it.)

Hey, try:

You can buy liquid latex, stage blood and a bunch of appliances here. Plus they have some relatively cheap books on how to do it all yourself, maybe that will help.

There's definitely a specific type of paint for bodypainting that stays on quite well - as long as you don't rub it against something, for instance. I know Fardel does it but I don't know if they sell that brand in the States...

Mmmm... Bodypaint.

And no offense but Hallowe'en miles away It's cool what you're doing though. No one takes it seriously over here usually only the girls dress up and usually it's as one of three things.

1. Catwoman
2. Devil Woman
3. Playboy Bunny

Last year I went as Batman specifically to pull a Catwoman and ended up a Devil. Wacky eh?

Tattoo paints from Reel Creations won't rub off. Pax paint (Pros- Aide + Acrylic Paint) will stay on as well. Neither option will be cheap. Pax will stick to rubber better.

Hmm, I was hoping my BF at the time would go as Dracula to my Anna...unfotunately, that didn't work out...

I'm kind of afraid to know what kind of people my Dracula crossplay is going to pull...

Get yourself a tall, muscular, badass with a fedora and crossbow then go to a Ball somewhere and raise Hell. Literally. I can give you some chants if if like...
