I remember the cthullu episode it had a cult useing the necronomicn to bring back cthullu and Ray used the something from the original story in weird tales magazine to defeat cthullu. It was agreat episode along with the modern headless horsemen and samhain episodes

It's not up anymore. This sucks, 'cause now, everybody's talking about episodes that I haven't seen or ages and totally forgot about, or ones I don't remember even seeing, and I can't find 'em anywhere. I'm now officialy jonesin' for a "RG" fix!

C'mon, Rhino. If they can put out a "Jem" dvd, you can hook us up with the Ghostbusters. Pretty please?

I still think Sam Raimi stole the whole idea for "Army of Darkness" from a Ghostbusters episode. It's the one where they're in the Scottish castle. An "army of the dead" are coming out of the ground in the country side, with skeletons marching towards the caslte.

the only episode i remember is the one where they went in space, and there was a monster/ghost that looked just like carpenter's Thing. and it just kept growing bigger and bigger. I remember it was so cool. Oh, i also remember the one where they went into the ghost universe inside their ghost traps too.

I'm one of those sick looney tunes who actually collects animation cels from "The Real Ghostbusters," so obsessed with the show am I (I actually have a sequence from one episode with Ray turning to Egon, who is climbing bravely out of the Ecto-1). I interviewed Reeves and Stracynski both at various times and as adventurous and Lovecraftian as the ones that made it to air were, both talked about getting censored time and time and time again by the network who kept saying, "Oh, wait...you really CAN'T do that..." So, they had a lot MORE crazy horror ideas for the show that never made it.

Talked a lot with Reeves about the fact that he wrote on "Go-Bots" and "Transformers" as well (I'd think that would be like being a floor manager at Macy's AND Gimbel's, but oh, well) and he said that censorship wasn't the problem with moving the show along there, it was the CONSTANT product placement pressure where everything was about selling a toy and it would always get in the way of storytelling.
